Instruction: The bar slides between the panes of glass and is secured in place with a screw, the barrel then slides onto the bar and ratchets into place.

Work well for our vivariums!
We ordered 3 of these glass door locks and all 3 are still in good working condition after 4 months. They are easy to install and do the job well (even for keeping in a Burmese Python).No problems with product or seller (they arrived quickly and in good packaging).Would recommend to other reptile owners!
