UPDATE! UPDATE! UPDATE! See last paragraph!
First of all, a day early delivery? I'll take it! Secondly, if they would highlight just how amazing the insoles really are, unlike ANYTHING I've ever slid my manly, athletic foot into! The insole has these tiny yet very springy and deceptively comfortable ridges along the entire surface from heel to toe, it's like setting foot on planet marshmallow-cloud! I don't even have the urge to mention the looks, the pictures speak for themself, this is the show I've been waiting for, a high top, bred with a hiker, bred with a work shoe, bread with a running shoe, it's both lightweight, flexible but durable, it's not loud yet very stylish. Of the 868 reviewers who left comments, I read every last one of them and that's what contributed to my decision to buy! But when reviewing, you've got to read between the lines, for example, there was many folks who gave a stunning written review, yet wouldn't commit to giving a 5 star rating, I think that is just how some people are, saving the 5 star ratings for free products that come with cash and gold I guess, because every person who leaves a review, you can click over on the other products they review very easily, and see that nobody gets 5 stars. With that information, if you take the people who never leave 5 stars, and count them as five star reviewers, then that listed average star score of 4.3 or 4.5, whichever this product got, should actually be considerably higher, accurately, these waterproof shoes/boots/hiker-hybrids rating is most definitely between 4.7 and 4.9. if you trust no other reviews for this product, trust this 47yr old disabled army veteran, I know what it means to work hard for what I've got, therefore I spend carefully, furthermore, I have some pretty gnarly feet that have pounded ground in multiple countries, stress fractures, the odd bunion, bruised bone and heel, if nobody else knows what it's like to find the right pair of shoes in Amazon land, I do. Trust me as I give this product a 5 star review personally, and wholly, I'd say the average is accurately a 4.8, I dare you to find footwear anywhere on Amazon that's got nearly 1000 reviews, with a better rating. The photos included are of that awesome cloudmarshmallow insole and of the high quality waterproofing of the outside of said shoe. I usually tear right thru any, and I mean ANY shoe or boot from 4 weeks to 2 months, so if I do so in these, I'll update as needed. I'm gonna try to take care of these, and I really should order a second pair now before this review causes the seller to increase its price!FYI: I am NOT a product tester, nor have I ever dealt with this company in any way prior to this purchase made on 3/20/2024, and I have not received, nor do I receive any kind of product or financial gain for any of my reviews. Some are pretty nasty in fact, you can click on and check out the other reviews I've contributed in the past and see, I give a fair and accurate rating as best I can and I do it for all of you, not for me... Thank youOkay, despite having seen a few, and I do mean only like 3 out of all the written reviews, I seen folks claiming NOT WATERPROOF! These are all apparently professional deep water divers and hirrocan crash test dummies because while power washing the rust off of a metal camper trailer frame, my curiosity just wouldn't let up so I may have accidentally sprayed the toe cap area of my new shoes. I could feel the cold of the water, I could feel the hint of pain involved with concentrated fluid pressure of the miniature motorized water canon, however, after a 3 full second blast into the thinnest part above each set of toes, my feet remained dry! So, either I got the only seriously waterproof pair of boots on the planet, or other people's expectations are unrealistically high for an item costing less than half the price of a serious steel toes, electricity proofed, slip resistant anti-gravity boots cost! Okay that sounds like it would a hell of an expensive fictional footwear, but my words sufficiently illustrated my point I think. Price ✓ Performance ✓ Comfort ✓ the only way to improve these semi-high tops would be to install Jarvis into them, you know the AI from ironman, that and if they walked themselves to McDonald's after I got up for the day to grab breakfast for me. That would be how one could one-up these bad boys. For further analogies, please log on to, I'm just kidding, I've got no more analogies!

Great boots - Great value
Fit is true, and they are waterproof as claimed. But most importantly, they are incredibly comfortable. I work in the lumber yard at a home improvement store, so I am constantly on my feet, on and off forklifts, and average over 20,000 steps per shift. From day 1, I have never had any discomfort or sore feet. These will always be my boot choice for work. FYI, they are not hard-toed safety shoes if that is what you are looking for.

Great Boot but not waterproof
First things first - I love this shoe/boot! This hiker is very comfortable and fits fairly true to size. I typically where a 44/45 Euro and the 11 fits perfectly. This boot would easily score a 5 if they didn't stress that it was waterproof. I typically run with my dog in a grass field and when the grass is wet from the morning dew, the tips of my socks get wet. If you need a great boot that is water resistant and comfortable then consider this product.

Flexible, comfortable, waterproof, great tread.
I wear boots as my primary footwear. I hike miles with my dogs, and i need them for work. These boots are the best boots i have found online in many many years. I'd have to say that these boots have military design. Extremely strong sole and flexible upper body. Breathable, flexible, durable, water proof, great tread. I will likely buy a back up pair or just keel buying them again and again as long as they mame them.

Excellent boots especially for the price
They are much more comfortable to me when I don’t lace them all the way up , stop at the holes , and they are kind of lightweight on your feet. For the price excellent boots, a lot better than many boots I have had and these are waterproof. , I never had any water issues and I am a plumber so I am sometimes in water or sewage some what boot high no problem , I even brought another pair because they are so light and keep water out to use just for rainy stormy weather . The only thing the ones I use for work my left foot it took a couple of days to break in now feels great I thought I would have to buy a foot pad for it, but I did not have to after 3 days they feel great. One of the best boots I feel comfortable . I just ordered another pair of Timberland’s and these feel more comfortable than my timberland boots and they are cheaper.

Rain boots
I purchased these boots for a trip to Seattle and Alaska for the rainy season. These boots kept my feet dry, warm and comfortable to wear all day long. These boots kept are lightweight, has arched support and the money was worth spending for these quality boots.

Insole quality, sides digging into
They work great with the tread and waterproof, but i have pointy ankle bones so they kind of dig into them and make them sore, and would recommend buying better insoles for them.

Very comfortable right out of the box....
I bought these boots to wear in the colder weather and in possibly 2-3 inch snow for walking the dogs. Because they are WP they don't breathe a great deal which is exactly what I'm looking for and to keep my toes warm for very cold temps. My first 5 mile walk was comfy and the boots don't rub or cause any disruptions. They feel well made, yet are not too heavy and the eyelet hooks at the top help to steady and keep my ankles stable on gravel roads. The gravel does not get into the boot. Big plus.I can easily add my own insert and the shoelaces tie nicely and stay tied the entire walk. I cannot feel the road beneath my feet and the grip is perfect on paved sidewalks. They are big enough inside for me to wear a thin or thicker sock without issue. The only thing I would suggest is to make the toe box a half inch bigger/wider but the fit here is pretty good. They may loosen up after a while to conform to my feet as they are made from material, not leather. Overall, a really great pair of hightop hikers which will get a lot of use in my world. Thinking about purchasing another pair just for backup.
