Cute. Cheap plastic on ends doesn't last!
We originally purchased it to use at shows on a travel camper. We decided to ditch that idea, and months later decided to put it over my shed doors to keep the sun down and have a place my animals when I am in the shed working to have some shade (since they don't leave my side and can't come in). For a door, you can't really roll this out very far or you can't enter said door. The extensions arms are short so the awning opens fully to basically 2 ft off the ground. So we didn't, except to roll down to remove the leaves and get a better degree for rain to roll off. Since only 2 or 3 ft out rain would puddle up on it quickly. Less than a week, one side on the end of the pole broke making the awning collapse, still attached to the building by the support poles. Again, which are way to short to extend the length of this awning for a normal 8ft. Out extension. Anyway...my husband managed to set a screw in that side and place the awning back up. It seemed secure. Nope. One strong wind and now both sides are broken, basically plastic things on both ends are stripped. The awning material is fine, the main pole is fine. The main pole having cheap plastic knobs is the problem. We are out money for -2 weeks of cute and very little shade protection for my animals. Glad we didn't apply this to the camper for shows. Would have been a liability IMO of falling on customers. Totally useless in rain, which in all fairness their ad doesn't mention rain now.Live and learn I suppose. Don't buy something and expect to have a warranty over a year anymore. Buy it, put it up quick...you have 1 month to find out it stinks to return.

Fits great
Love it. Had it about a year and still holding up great even when windy. Fits door perfect. Nice quality fabric. Easy to retract and set up. Love it.

Not bad at all.
I needed a small awning over my back porch. This one gets the job done

It's okay for the price
It's worth the low price but there are a few little issues. The installation measurement for the distance of the brackets was off because they made the roller too long. The roller was almost an inch longer than the fabric it held so the metal roller stuck out quite a bit on one end. I ended up having to remove the end cap and cut it down by 0.75". Only then did it properly fit within the bracket spacing that was advised in the installation instructions. The plastic end caps, that cover the brackets, arrived broken so I couldn't keep them on. They didn't really cover much, and the exposed ends are ugly, so I'll have to get something more substantial to hide the ends of the rollers/brackets. Still looks decent and is worth the price but, if you don't want to cut down the roller pipe, don't immediately follow their bracket spacing instructions until you check the length of the awning/roller you receive.

Cheap product
I purchased two of these a few months ago, but only got them up about three months ago. Already one has fallen off and had to be put back up and the other one has fallen twice. The part that connects the awning to the frame is made of cheap plastic and the one that fell twice is destroyed. I’ll have to see if I can get some metal ones to replace all of them. By the way, there was a slight breeze blowing the second time it fell, but it was only blowing at 5 mph that day.

too much sun
My deck has too much sun and needed a small covering to protect the plants. This worked out but had to adapt a way to secure the poles since they are not tall enough to reach the floor

Flimsy and cheaply made
This awning is made of very cheap materials, and I seriously doubt it would last thru a single monsoon storm here in AZ even if it were all the way retracted. The pull is cheap plastic beads and string that our sun would likely destroy in a month or two, the end caps and mounts are cheap and flimsy, and the material was plastic, not any kind of actual treated fabric or shade material that would have a prayer of surviving a PHX summer. Oh, and you have to build the awning yourself. Save you money, skip this one, and just buy a good awning in the first place, because that’s what you’ll be doing anyway if you install this cheapo. Look elsewhere.
