I had a dawning realisation recently - winter is going to end at some point! The weather is getting warmer – and I might have to get my legs out of tights at some point.I hope you will find this review useful and it will give you an idea of the brush and why I have given it 4 stars.Since October I have been going to the gym and losing weight (yay go me) but I still have a huge amount of cellulite on my thighs. It is not as sexy as it sounds I promise. So I've got to do something about this for my own self confidence.So I have been using a cream, which has helped up to a point but I wanted to try something that would help speed up the process as I am going on holiday and for the first time in a long time I would actually like to wear a pair of shorts and not scare small children.I am sure you are trying, much like I was, to source a good product. in fact I am sure you are reading the reviews to make sure that it works before spending rather ta large amount of your hard earned money on something that may not work.When this arrived (within 24 hours wooo!) I was pleased it looked just like the expensive versions on the high streetI've now been using a couple of weeks and have noticed a difference. Now, nothing is a miracle cure, but as long as I can see the difference that quickly I think its worth sticking too and I hope in a months time when I go to the beach I will have much less than before. Anything that says it is a miracle is most likely lying, as nothing will get rid of cellulite completely or instantly.All in all, good value product that worked for me. I would Recommend it!Some of the products I review have been discounted, including this brush. However, I would never review something that I would be prepared to pay full price for. I seriously LOVE this brush
I seriously LOVE this brush! I had randomly read something about 'Dry Brushing' on Facebook through a link a friend shared. I had never heard of dry brushing before and the whole process of revitalizing your skin by brushing off the dead skin cells as well as everything I read about how dry brushing can reduce the appearance of cellulite made me way too curious to NOT try it! So I researched several body brushes before settling on this one...mostly due to the reviews mentioning that the bristles were not so stiff that they hurt (which seems to be an issue with some other brushes). I had no idea what to expect the first time I used the brush...but I did NOT expect for my skin to feel SO soft afterward. SO SO SO SOFT! After the first use I was so shocked at the difference it made in how my skin felt that I literally felt addicted to the process of brushing each day. I can't imagine my skin NOT feeling as soft as it always does now. Not only does it completely transition the outward feeling of your skin to something so soft and silky you won't believe it...but it also gives your skin a healthy glow and much more youthful look. I would recommend dry brushing...and THIS particular brush to anyone!

I love this brush! I had been thinking about buying a dry brush for a while. When I came to Amazon, I was confused because there were so many of them in different prices and styles. I did consider the lesser priced ones and I'm so happy that I opted for quality instead. It is so invigorating! It gives me that extra kick that I sooooo need in the morning. It makes my skin so soft. I'm glad that this has a long handle so I can reach everywhere. I usually get winter itch regularly, but I don't have it anymore. It's great for blood circulation, too. Customer service is great; my brush lost some bristles and they UPS'd a new one to me the next day. Do yourself a favor and get this one the first time!

Stinky Bristles, But Otherwise Okay
I just got it and only used it once, so who knows how long it will last. It works fine so far, but my only dislike about it is that it stinks (as in smelly). I don't know if that's how they all smell, but its off-putting to put that smelly thing on my skin. I washed it with gentle soap and water and it made it smell even worse when wet, so I sprayed it with rubbing alcohol to desanitize it, and that helped.

The best of my bunch of brushes tried
I bought a bunch of different styles for my Drybrush exfoliation experiment. This turned out to be my favorite; especially because the bristles felt great (although I wish they were a full inch long; the nubs/knobs on the back are great for stimulating my scalp, and I love the long wooden style as it reaches every part of my back, etc.

I just received my new brush a few days ago but I started using it immediately. I'm hoping to see/feel results soon. I bought this brush in hopes of using it as a detox for my skin; to improve circulation and clean out my liver, which could possibly be clogged. I've been feeling sluggish, bloated and can't seem to lose weight so I'm hoping this brush is a good start to feeling better. I've been researching dry brushing for a while now and have read about the many benefits. As for the customer service, I couldn't ask for a better experience. I received my brush when specified, as well as an email with important information on how to use the brush. Kathy (owner of Sublime) even said she'd the check in with me in a few days.

The Sublime Beauty Healthy Original Body Brush is very simple and simply amazing ! I have never used a body brush before and was sceptical about the rewarding feel good benefits. UNTIL ...I purchased this and read the accompanying online booklet .It is invigorating , relaxing, and leaves my skin healthy looking. It is a great stress reducer .The other side is nubbed for use on cellulite areas. A great way to massage those areas and help loosen and in time...lesson the appearance .I can't say enough about this product and the benefits.You just have to try it yourself !!

This is amazing! I had friends talk to be about Skin Brushing for awhile and how amazing it is for your skin, but I never proceeded in trying it. However, one day i decided to purchase this Sublime Beauty Brush and let me tell you, this thing works wonders!!I do it every morning and/or every night. It has become part of my routine and it takes no time to do it. Your skin does get a little dry after, so I usually just put a little bit of cocoa butter or coconut oil on after, so I am not itchy.Also, if you have cellulite, this brush does the trick. I've always had a little on the back of my thighs (as a lot of women struggle with) and I spend a little more time on my thighs and bottom and I also turn the brush around and use the rubber-bristle part to really get into the cellulite (fat pockets). My cellulite has reduced significantly and I have only been doing it for a little over a month now.Also, i can tell that my skin is tighter and it glows and it just looks and feels great!I really recommend that everyone do this!Thanks so much Sublime!ALSO, the company owners are so very kind and were great people to buy from!!

Great brush
I debated a lot about whether to get the portable brush or the long-handled brush. I ultimately decided to get them both... and am glad I did! The portable brush is easy to pack for travel and, as others have said, fits nicely in the hand. I find it is less awkward than the handled brush for most areas of my body. However, the long-handled brush is indispensable for my back -- the area where body brushing feels most delicious! I have them both hanging next to the shower. Before showering I start with the portable brush, then switch to the regular one for my back, and then flip it over and use the nubs for a quick cellulite massage. Some days I run through the routine very quickly and other days I go at a more leisurely pace. It feels good and it's nice to know I'm starting the day doing something good for my body. These are quality brushes and the bristles are just the right degree of firmness.

Great brush!
The only reason I gave this brush 4 stars instead of 5 is because it needs a detachable handle.The company does have great customer service and emailed to make sure I received my brush. I did respond back that I did and made my comment about the detachable handle. The company then told me about a "traveling" brush they will be introducing that comes without a handle. Yay! Although I do hope it's a detachable handle so that I don't have to need 2 brushes! However, even if it is a brush without a handle I will still get it as I really like the bristles on this brush better than the Yerba Prima brush I've been using for the past 2 years. I would definitely recommend this product!

Dry Body Brushing - Great for your Skin!
Honestly, I had never heard of dry brushing the skin! I was searching for a shower brush when I happened to see the ad for this brush and thought I would try it. It is a fabulous experience! I use it for 5 minutes at night before bed and in the morning before heading to work. My skin has never been smoother - it flakes off the dead skin and feels very invigorating. Also provides a great foundation for a tan! Give it a try - guaranteed you'll love it!

Over all a good body brush
This is a very good quality brush and I think it will last good long time.When it was new it felt a little shap, but with time it soften up.The bristles have not fallen out like our last purchase.The wood handle is strong, I have dropped it several times and it did not crack or break.The handle is long enough to do your back and your feet.The rubber side is really nice massaging thing for back and feet.I was debating on either 4 of five stars due to the original sharpness of the bristles.We were happy with the price.

Great Customer Service
This brush was shipped promptly and arrived well packaged. However, when I used it, the brush head broke off from the handle. I contacted the seller and she responded within an hour. She is sending a brand new brush tomorrow and apologized for the problem. Great seller and I will purchase from Sublime Beauty again now that I know about the excellent customer service. Back to the brush....I really liked it. The bristles are just right, not too rigid and not too soft. It felt good against my skin and I look forward to using the new one when it arrives.

Awful Brush UPDATE
I'm updating my review because Kathy from sublime beauty has done something that's very rare these days, she replace that brush with a new one and actually 2 New Brushes!it's awesome to see that a company stands behind their products.I bought this brush in September 2013. 8 months ago. The Wood around the bristles is likedry rotting. It is awful. I had my previous brush for years with no issues.I would never buy another Sublime Beauty Skin Brush again.Now I have to buy a new one.

Good Quality but Poor Design for Purpose
The quality of the brush is good, but the design doesn't work for me.The only reason to have a brush with a handle is to reach hard-to-reach areas, mainly, the back.One can brush the rest of the body with a no-handle brush, such as the removable brush of a back-washing brush.But to reach the back easily one needs the handle to be at a slight angle. And not too long.A typical bath brush has the handle at an angle, but longer, to reach the bottom of the back.However, one uses a body brush differently and the handle needs to be shorter, and the angle is an important aid to proper brushing.The longer handle gets in the way with correct body brushing of the shoulders and back.This brush has a somewhat shorter handle than a back-washing brush, but it is still too long and way too heavy.So, an ideal body brush has a shorter handle, at an angle.The nubby things are complete unrelated to body brushing. They make the brush unwieldy.If one wants nubby things one s hould get a separate brush with nubby things.Both they, and the thickness of the wood, the straight handle, the too-long handle altogether make this brush too heavy for ease of use.So, I suggest getting and standard bathing brush and cutting the handle to make it a bit shorter. Use the removable brush by itself and stick on the handle for the back. Or get two back brushes, one with and one without a handle. That would also be a lot cheaper than buying this brush. As I said, the quality if nice, but the design IMO is poor.

And not too long.A typical bath brush has the handle at an angle, but longer, to reach the bottom of the back.However, one uses a body brush differently and the handle needs to be shorter, and the angle is an important aid to proper brushing.The longer handle gets in the way with correct body brushing of the shoulders and back.This brush has a somewhat shorter handle than a back-washing brush, but it is still too long and way too heavy.So, an ideal body brush has a shorter handle, at an angle.The nubby things are complete unrelated to body brushing. They make the brush unwieldy.If one wants nubby things one s hould get a separate brush with nubby things.Both they, and the thickness of the wood, the straight handle, the too-long handle altogether make this brush too heavy for ease of use.So, I suggest getting and standard bathing brush and cutting the handle to make it a bit shorter. Use the removable brush by itself and stick on the handle for the back. Or get two back brushes, one with and one without a handle. That would also be a lot cheaper than buying this brush.
