After a long ish term test I can say I am just as happy with it now as when I first purchased it.Great product and very easy to use. No leaking or problems of any kind. Fantastic for making my hot drinks while fishing next to the lake and it never fails to get someone asking about it.Highly recommended for the discerning UK carp fisherman. I also have the larger 1.5l version with the hobo stove kit and it is just as good with the added bonus of being able to cook your food on it after you have made your drink.I am a huge fan of this product line. If you are in any doubt as to if it is as good as its American counterpart don't be. I used to have one of those in stainless until it got crushed. My fault I reversed my car over it while packing up my kit one day. These alloy kettles are just as good. They do a stainless version also.Buy British you will not regret it.

Well made, functional and pretty, as well as produced in the UK. Great piece of kit for walking; much more fun than a Thermos and you don't have to carry the water. Ronnie Sunshines were great to deal with and got the order out really quickly in a well packaged parcel. I am about to buy another one as a gift and I will use Ronnie Sunshines again without any hesitation for all my outdoors kit. Great.

Fast to boil, you need to get your lighting technique good before using it in the mountains. Superb design. Used in rain, wind and shine, great performance every time. Gas or this? I vote for this, even though it is bulky to carry. Weight-I don't mind and you never have to buy gas refills. Solid fuel tablets needed if not using twigs and sticks.

My grandson who lives in Australia was more than delighted with his kettle as he wild camp, and there is plenty of wood about, so he will make very good use of it on his next trip.

The media could not be loaded.  This is a fantastic whistling water boiler. You do need to make a couple of boil’s in it first to clean the water jacket out. Then it is safe to use as drinking water. Have a look on YouTube to see the safe way to handle it once boiled first. I can see me using it a lot on camping weekends.

I liked the finish and the wooden handle. This was a present for my son and he was pleased with the retro look and the fact it came with its own bag.

I got three of these for my scouts, and they love them - so quick to boil water in, and they love keeping the fire going. It really does only need tiny little sticks, and the heat produced is amazing. Very clean, little smoke, and very lightweight - perfect for a brew in the woods whilst out walking.
