Sparkle Science Glitzy Chemistry Set from John Adams

Bought for a 8 year old who loves science but still girly

I bought this as a Christmas present and I am sure the little girl I bought it for will be delighted. However I cannot comment on the contents, or indeed the scent, which was one of your questions as I haven't seen inside the box

I bought 2 of these for my daughters and have been a bit disappointed so far. We made the lava lamps which just didn't work as stated.I also made a crystal necklace but as soon as you crystalise it the hole closes up and when you try to reopen it the necklace cracks.It's fun but the end results are disappointing.

Bought this for my neice! She said i wanted one these for so long!

My daughter loved getting this for her birthday but please note that a few of the things you make need to be left at least for a few hours before its finished, the crystals need to be left over night and if you want it to grow more it can be left up to a week. luckly my daughter has some patience and didnt lose interest before it was finished

This product is good but doesn't come with everything you need to do all of the experiments. When I've purchased science kits in the past everything has been included so I was a little disappointed that my daughter was unable to do the experiments straight away. The kit doesn't come with gloves which are needed as some of the colours stain, nor cornflour or oil. We made the lava lamp, we followed the instructions but when the reaction happened it all came up through the holes in the top of the lamp causing a glittery, oily mess and once the reaction has happened that's it, with there being no heat source the lamp is a layered holder of water oil and glitter.

Really fun. Smaller than expected but thats the only negative comment

Bought for my Grand-daughter who loves making items with glitter. Enjoyed making all items.
