My child loves this train! It works very well to pull a lot of cars on my wooden train set. The quality is high, and the motor is strong and durable.The battery life is pretty good - but sometimes it easy to accidentally leave on (or the button pushes accidentally). Overall, a great engine for a wooden train set that can provide hours of entertainment!

This Z Mayobbo electric train exceeded my expectations! It is faster and clings to the wooden track better than my high priced Brio engine. Yet not too fast - - but enough to generate interest. I bought the remote control version, and it works well, if you want it. The tunnel flashes lights and makes train sounds. The train car stays attached well to the engine. The fact that it recharges with an included USB cord is maybe the best feature. It stays running strong a long time! It rarely goes off track, which is always a bummer. A little painters tape under the track connections helps make for a smoother ride on my old tracks. I intend to order another one soon!

My 2 year old grandson loves this battery operated train. It fits his wooden train tracks perfectly. It seems well built and sturdy. It also cost about half of what others that look just like it cost. The only problem is that he often leaves it running when he goes to play with something else and the battery runs down. It is very quiet, so if we don't see that the wheels are still running if it has fallen off the track, we have to change the batteries often. Just be sure to have extras on hand. You will also need a very small Phillips screw driver to remove the tiny screw on the top, front of the engine to replace the battery.

First of all, the product directions are not included in the packaging. You will find them in the Amazon advertisement. Weird. I purchased this because it has a rechargeable battery through a USB port rather than the usual AA batteries. Of course, it does not include a charger, but does include a cord. The engine lit up during the charging period, as it should. The directions call for about a 40 minute charge. When the light goes off it will be fully charged. My light never went off. To turn on the engine you press the button on top for about 3 seconds. After several tries of more than 3 seconds, the engine never turned on. At this price point I knew that this was not going to be very high quality. But it turned out to be your typical Chinese piece of garbage. I am returning it and requested a replacement hoping that the five year old, for whom this was intended, can wait patiently another couple of days. So glad that this was not a Christmas gift.REPLACEMENT ITEM Amazon was very good about replacing the item quickly. This time it charged and ran — for two minutes. I charged it again with the same result. I cannot stress enough how disappointing this has been to a five year old and to me who has had to deal with this very poor quality item. No replacement this time. I’ll try a different product entirely. Fingers crossed.

My grandson loves it. It's his favorite toy when he comes to our house. Just wish it had a little more power to go up the ramps of the train tracks.

This little guy is easily the best train purchase I've made for our 2 yr/5 yr kids. It is easy to operate, connects to other cars, just the right strength and size. I've only had to replace the battery once in 6 months even when it gets left on for a while. And we also love the cargo train that comes with it too. Do not underestimate this train!

The media could not be loaded. My kids love it! The speed is great and it can carry up to 3-4 wooden train cars with no issues, even going uphill. The remote works well and easily controls when to stop or move forward/backward. The sound isn’t very loud, but it’s decent enough.I only gave 3 stars because the battery doesn’t last long. I charged it overnight with a USB Type-C cable, but it only ran for about 1–2 hours. I’ve had other battery-operated trains in the past that use alkaline batteries, and my kids could play with them all day without the battery draining so quickly. I don’t like that I have to keep recharging this one while my kids throw tantrums when their playtime ends too soon.So overall, I’d rather go with the battery-operated trains instead of this rechargeable one. That’s just my two cents.

Train works as advertised, the kids love it.In case any one is curious lego mini figs fit in the seats like it was made for them.
