The 3D Prima PVPLA300BK PrimaValue PLA Filament is a premium 1 kg spool of high-strength PLA material, designed for 2.85mm OD 3D printers. With approximately 335 meters of filament, it ensures excellent roundness, tight diameter tolerance, and strong interlayer adhesion, making it the perfect choice for both hobbyists and professionals.

Use at lower temp
Good PLA but use at 180c for quality and print slow.

Cheap, but great quality!
I bought this 2.85mm filament to use with an Ultimaker 2 after wanting to find a cheaper alternative to the official Ultimaker spools and I have to say I'm very pleased with the results. Not only is this spool exceptional value for money, working out to be about a quarter the price of the official spools, but is also surprisingly good quality. Not only is the finish superb, but even after using it to print a few dozen meters of material (50 hours of printing) at near default settings, there hasn't been a single jam, unlike a few other brands of filament. The spool was well packaged (which helps eliminate the chance of dust which can clog up the printer) and wound well meaning it feeds smoothly into the machine and turns freely when loaded. Overall, this is a great product and I will definitely be buying it again when I need to.Well packaged.Filament wound correctly.

Highly Variable
I've had the blue PrimaValue filament, and it's worked flawlessly (at 210C). The red, however, is highly variable. I've had some decent prints out of it, but had to crank the heat up to 230C to get it to extrude without slipping (I have a Bondtech QR, so not a feeble extruder by any means!). On small prints this seemed to be fine, but trying to print the NHS PPE visor band was impossible in red - either I'd get under extrusion or woefully poor layer adhesion (probably caused by under extrusion). Doing the same in blue (at 210C) is absolutely fine and requires no special settings or fiddling about.

First time I don't buy ColorFabb
This 5 stars are based on: Price/quality.15 pounds for 1kg. (First time I don't buy ColorFabb)The product was coming in the amazon box and inside of this one, the Prima 3D box and inside a sealed bag with the spool and a bag of silica for the humidity. Very Very well packed. As soon as I opened I put it in a Ultimaker 2 with an old file that I have there, and it came out perfect. 0 wrapping and perfect layer bed adhesion. I will do a 3D Benchy test this week and if something gets crazy I will update the review but I am just thinking to get some other colors.

Will buy same brand again.
Makes good quality 3D products. Tweet your cooling speeds to make sure you don't get curling edges. As a tip... Make sure you clean the printer nozzle before inserting and using white plastic. It doesn't hide old burnt on plastic.

It's in the name VALUE
You get what you pay for. Tried this after using Ultimaker PLA. Did not adhere to the heated bed. Expect to have problems printing. Something extra to add to your troubles. I returned all my reels and went back to Ultimaker product.

Great product
This is by far, the best PLA I have used. No warping no tangles. I set my nozzle temp. at 230 and my bed at 55 and it prints perfectly. Fantastic value for money too.

Excellent dark grey filament, very happy.
Lovely filament to print with. The colour (dark grey) is exactly as described and the print quality is excellent. So far I've had no stringyness, good dimensional consistency and overall really impressed with it. Having been left out for a few weeks, there's almost no sign of taking on moisture, though I can't say what humidity it's kept in (middle of winter in the UK, so probably high humidity).
