Ancable 2-Pack 6-Feet Mono Cable 2.5mm Male to 3.5mm Mono Jack Plug - 12V Trigger Cable for Parasound Amp and Logitech Harmony Hub

Used the cable to go from my Harmony Huds, 2.5mm, to the IR remote input, 3.5mm, on the back of my Sony TV. Worked perfectly and no need for the IR receiver on the front of the TV to be free of the center channel placed in front of it.

Good quality cable. Works great for my Parasound A23 amp. And great price. I don't know of anyone else that sells this cable. Amazon sells the two-pack which is very well priced, but you can also buy a 1-pack directly from Ancable for half that. Shipping from them will take a couple weeks though, so I went with Amazon--one day. I did communicate directly with Ancable, and they were very helpful and nice to work with. So either direct or via Amazon, I would recommend Ancable.

While I'm sure there is some other use for this particular cable, it does exactly what it says it does.It's a monaural cable that is used on an older Parasound unit to act as the trigger to turn on a different brand amplifier (or even a newer Parasound unit) that has a standard 1/8th inch jack.In my instance, I am using the cable on a Parasound NewClassic 2100 Preamp to a different brand amp.Works like a champ.Not a very called for configuration (being monaural), but works great in this application.

The Harmony Hub has two LED ports. I used one for my main processor which has four trigger outputs and the other for my Sony TV. Now when I hit the "Watch TV" button on the Harmony remote all of my stereo equipment turns on. The LED ports are now connected to remote jacks on the equipment. No more shooting an LED beam of light hoping the equipment sees it. Much more reliable and a much faster response.

I bought these to use the "auto-turn-on" function in my Parasound audio equipment. The plugs fit perfectly and do exactly what I wanted.

got a bad buzz with both of them, tried other cables and no buzz. I complained and the offered on explantion, just apology and offered to accept return.

I use it for Photography to trigger my slave flashes using my pocket wizard transmitter/ receiverHard to find cable, my pocket wizard transmitter/receiver , the Multimax has a connection for a 3.5 mm cable, the flash an input for a 2.5 mm cable. Works great, no problems at all. Even that is long and I only need may be 1.5 feet of cable, I just keep it wrapped with a tie, no delays triggering my remote flashes.I have already bought 8 of them, I keep some as spare. A++++++
