You need this book!
This little book was brought to me by my Sponsor to go along with my Big Book and my 12 by 12. I don't study with out it! Like the 12 by 12 it goes more in depth with the our 12 steps. In our Big Book it really doesn't go in to detail about our 7th step. But with this "Little Red Book" I am more confident in doing my step work, and understand the way about going about life on life's terms. Some will steer you away from this because its not said to be AA material. I encourage you to open your mind to other literature. It even say's this in the Big Book that we can get something out of other entities, not just our AA stuff. I hope this helps you with your decision. It's the best one I've ever made, plus its a hard cover! I encourage you to read this. In this I know that I'm doing the best for my recovery and you know what? I'm important.

Great reading that has helped me immensely. This book is an easy read.
I've read the Big Book of Alcoholics Anonymous and The Little Red Book supplements it very nicely. The wording brings an understanding that is easy and helpful to an alcoholic reader.

Learn well from this
Pocket size easy reading, cross references. Good intro to the bigger stuff.Has a full description of the basic needs within the application of the 12 step programme. All round good guide with ideas and direction that are quite easy to follow. Not, however, a replacement for the original. And this book confirmes the need for a greater insite through the more fuller Big Book study and a person or persons to assist.

Easy to read. Practical. Same twelve steps but more pro-active guidance than the official Twelve Step Books
I bought this book, as a member of another Twelve Step Fellowship, rather than AA. Other than the mental hassle of substituting the words 'alcoho'l and 'alcoholic' for the more appropriate words to my addiction, i found this book to be even more useful than the book written for my own Anonymous addiction in terms of tips and mental devices to use to aid recovery..
