Will this fit in a thinner body Squier ?

To be honest , I am not sure, But I will tell you that I did put this in my Squire, and it fit just fine . I don't know which models are thin body, but I would think that you would be able to put this into your guitar. Good luck, sorry I do not have a more definitive answer for you.

how long are the screws?

pretty darn long, about 2.5 inches (6.4cm)

Could someone who recently ordered this product describe the screw length? I'm seeing 2 1/2 and 1 7/8 inches reported. Thx!

Yep, 2 1/2 and 1 7/8 inches. I put mine in a Kramer Baretta Special.

What size drill bit do I need to use for these screws?

You will need a 1/8" drill bit. Best to use one that is 12" long. Sometimes referred to as an aircraft bit. You can get them on Amazon for a few bucks. It gets your drill up off the guitar body so you can get the correct angle to drill. Raise the claw about a 1/16" from the bottom of the cavity and mark your holes then proceed to drill.
