Awesome, AWESOME, A W E S O M E unit ! ! !
I bought this unit because the TaoTronics unit I had bought used to hiccup when I took my senior dogs for a gentle walk around the neighborhood. I use this to listen to music from my iPod Classic as we walk along. No matter if the unit was in my pant pocket, shirt pocket, jacket pocket, it was hiccup at least 2 to 3 times - per song. It made listening to music very unpleasant. I don't know if I got a defective unit, but I decided to return the TaoTronics unit and try something else.So I decided to try out this Konecta unit by SoundWhiz. Boy! Am I blown away. Not only does the music sound grreat (a lot better than the TaoTronics unit) but its transmissions to my Jaybird X3 are flawless. During the walks there is no hiccup at all, and in the house when I walk around corners and walls separate me from the unit the transmission is still flawless. The old TaoTronics unit used to cut out the transmissions as soon as I walked around a single corner. If that unit was not with 20 feet in the line of sight of the headphones then, no transmission. This unit just keeps going.Can't say enough about how good this unit really is. Quite frankly, I'm surprised more people have not discovered this unit and rated more highly than it is. It certainly deserves a 5 star. If I could, I'd give this a 10 star.No. I was not paid for this review. No, I did not receive this product as a sample to try for my review (I wish I had :-). This review is totally independent and straight of what I feel and think of this unit.

Best Bluetooth Transmitter Receiver Adapter Available!
This is an amazing device! It works perfectly with my android phone (and tablet). I use my LG Stylo 2 Plus phone not as a phone but as a media device (for listening to music, playing movies etc.) Why I love this SoundWhiz adapter is it is the only adapter I've found that has buttons that allow me to 1. Pause (and begin playing again) movies and/or music. 2. Go forward or back any number of tracks while playing music. 3. Adjust the volume of music or videos via the device. I absolutely DETEST bluetooth headphones. I only wear Etymotic HF-5 headphones (in-ear canal) as they attenuate ambient noise by 42db (best on the market). This SoundWhiz Bluetooth adapter allows me to use the headphones I want. Battery life is spectacular. I always get 9.5 to 10 hours of operation before a recharge is required. Amazing! And latency is very low. If I stop a movie, even if the dialogue of the character is stopped in the middle of a word, when I restart the movie, the sound continues with the completion of that word and proceeds. This is phenomenal quality! Thank you Soundwhiz.

Great product
This was exactly what I was looking for. Like a couple other reviewers, I am using it with my projector. I don't own my own house right now so I can't set up the home theater surround sound system that I would like. I've been using a Bluetooth speaker for when I watch movies on the big screen. With this product, I can connect it directly to the audio output on the projector as apposed to running an audio cable from one end of the room to the other, very convenient, plus it comes with a bunch of audio adapters if you need them. And since it's both a Bluetooth transmitter AND receiver, I can use it for other applications also. Pairing was easier than I thought. Just push down the power button until the light flashes red and blue, and put the speaker in discovery mode while making sure they are very close proximity to each other ( I mean a couple inches apart ), and it pairs automatically. The product I got was just as what was described in the description, which is what I was expecting. Would recommend to a friend.

No more late night worries!
Finally! I can watch and play games from the comfort of my own bed without worrying about waking up my family! Its so amazing! I used to stick so close to the tv with the volume so low. But now, no need to worry about that! Love this product!Ok. Review time. I'm going to break things down into sections so that this will be easier to read.Sound: 10/10it's great! This was my main priority when testing out the konecta. I mean a transmitter/receiver would be pretty useless if it doesnt deliver good sound. I didnt notice any audio difference when i connected my headset to konecta vs connecting it directly to the device. So no issues here. Great job!Connection: 9.5/10i tried connecting the konecta to different devices (phone, laptop, tv, piano, speaker). And not one failed! Very nice! For first time connections, my devices would connect at an average of 28 sec. Then less than 1 second when reconnecting. However, every time you switch from trans mode to rec mode does mean that you'll have to "first-time-reconnect" your device again so theres that.Transmitter mode: 10/10TV/Laptop - outstanding! I have no complaints whatsoever here. It works great with any bluetooth headset i tried putting on.Phone - delivered the same quality of audio i would get if i had connected my headset directly to the phone. Only thing i found was that the pause button of my headset wouldnt work. Not an issue though since my phone (as all others) already has built-in bluetooth. So it doesnt make any sense to be using this as a transmitter on your phone.Piano - i needed the 5mm adaptor that came with the konecta for this. Good news. It really works! I can actually play the piano without worrying about any noise complaints! Good job! i did however notice a very short delay (about 0.2 seconds) between pressing the keys and hearing the note. But this was only because of my headset and NOT the konecta.Receiver mode: 10/10Again, i have no complaints here. I tried using it on a bluetooth speaker and also on my bose speaker (which required the rc adaptor that came with the konecta). Both worked great and i found no issues with the sound. Also, the volume buttons and pause buttons on the konecta worked fine as well.Overall, i'm very happy with the konecta. I think its a stellar product and as of now, i don't have any real issues with it.[note: i will update this review after fully testing out the battery which may take awhile. Though i doubt there will be any issues there. I have 2 other products made by soundwhiz and so far, they haven't let me down. Cheers!]
