NATURE PET Ankle support bandage for dogs/tarsal joint support for dogs (4)

My large 14lb cat started limping in hind leg to the point that his knee (Hock) was dropping to the floor causing him to acutely vear to the left with this leg going under his body. Had to rush him to the Vet and Xray showed no dislocation - then sent to Specialist who advised its the lateral tarsal ligament damage. There are still ongoing tests etc but needed something urgently to stablise his walking before he broke something and nothing was being provided or really recommended by the Vets which was highly disappointing.After some research I purchased this item. I am pleased to say the small size fits my cat perfectly - put on his leg Saturday 2nd December and took it off today 6th December to give him some relief. His knee is now upright and not dropping and while he had the brace on his knee / hock was more supported, not dropping to the floor and allowed him to be more mobile and more importantly his leg was not acutely going under his body,. I will put it back on later tonight 6th December 2017 to ensure his leg stays stable. There is a lump on his joint when all this started and this has to be investigated. BUT in the meantime I have to say this brace has been a little miracle worker for my precious 17 year old boy who essentialy could not walk very far prior to getting this brace. He has even gotten up the stairs suprisingly quickly though I am cautious not to allow him to do this too often. A highly recommended item if your dog or cat has some similar issues.Please note it is VERY important to get the correct size for your pet. The size I got for my cat works perfectly it has stayed on for 4 days without it coming for and it fully supported his hind leg. If it is too small it can cause circulation issues - (check foot daily) and if too big will not provide the support required and it will not stay on. When putting on ensure that your can get a finger under the brace while on your pet so there is room for them to lie down and it is not too tight

Great product and service from the vendor. Ordered 2 for my elderly retriever that has weakness on his back legs so was creating wounds on his back legs. This holds the bandaging in place while providing support and cushioning. As this company is in Germany I received confirmation throughout about the order. Would certainly recommend and our vet was very impressed with them.

The product is excellent - but I have the wrong size have requested to send it back for either a refund or replacement for larger size.Nothing happened yet!
