Dexart Cast Iron Trivet - Enameled - 9.4" (Blue)

I bought one of these and then ordered two more. They are attractive, well made and are raised higher than most trivets which is what I like to enable the steam or heat to escape away from the table top. Some reviews mentioned chipping but I think the product shown in the picture is not up to date. From observing the first one I received, it doesn't appear to have a coating that will chip. It is nothing like some of the painted cast iron ones you see on Amazon. I'm hoping the next two I receive will be exactly like the first one I got. It's not like the Lodge Cast Iron meat rack but much more attractive and the finish or covering isn't evident. All around a beautiful trivet.

I ordered two of these trivets to have on hand for placing hot dishes on the serving table; this design attracted me as it was not fussy scrolls like many other cast iron trivets; the orange color was the best of the four offered (others are black, red and bright blue); I am somewhat disappointed as the price of these ($50 each) and the description led me to believe that they are very high quality items, along the same lines as Le Creuset or Staub products; in actuality, they are average “meh” quality and the enamel was chipped slightly on the underside of one trivet; I will keep them as the hassle of returning them is more trouble than returning them is worth; they seem like they will be serviceable; I feel that they are way overpriced for what one gets; they will look good on the buffet and table, but I will be continuing my search for something of higher quality.
