I run a half-marathon every month and have wanted one of these for a while. I have been using it after training and can already feel the effects, especially on my calves which are usually tight. I have looked at the available options and feel like the Elite represents good value for money.

This is the first time I've ever used anything like this. I was surprised at just how powerful it is! I suffer with constant neck and shoulder discomfort, and the relief I get from using this massager is unbelievable. At first, I wasn't ready for just how strong this is, and almost beat myself to death with it! But with a little practice, it works miracles. The many different heads help target specific areas and ate quick and simple to swap out. I'd have to agree with others that, at this price good expect to be getting a professional level massager, and you absolutely do get that! As the price reflects, this is a top quality piece of kit. It's very well-presented, so would make an excellent gift. Ideal for a spot of DIY sports massage, and an absolute godsend for those of us who suffer with chronic pain. Obviously some areas of the body will require someone to give you a hand. There are various different attachments, to target different areas of need. The motor is reasonably quiet and unobtrusive, despite being extremely powerful. It really is first class, so worth the splurge. I always think if it's something you're going to use regularly, it's better to spend a bit extra to get something that will last.

Great muscle massager. The quality of the massager is excellent, it come in a nice quality zip up case. It has several attachments which are easy to change. We have been using the massager on my calfs as i stand for 12 hours at work, so my calf muscles get really tence. The massager has worked very well at realising the tension.It is rechargeable and has a great battery life.It is pricey but it does exactly as it says it does.

Although as nice as it is, currently priced at £195 I can't really see what extra features this has to offer over cheaper models, maybe it's all in the components used? I have over the past few years checked out several other similar models which have been much cheaper than this model, they also seem to offer much the same. Yes, this does have the word 'Elite' and 'Pro' in it's name, but that to me doesn't justify such a high price tag.The massage gun is well made with no rough edges where plastic is joined, it has silicone inserts covering all screws which make the overall finish look neater, this also has a silicone handle providing good grip. The massage gun houses a 2000 mAh lithium-ion rechargeable battery, this should provide between 4 - 11.5 hours use depending on speed used and if load bearing or not, the claimed average battery life is around 6 hours. My battery was completely flat on arrival which was of concern, the battery should have held some charge from the factory, only time will tell if the battery is reliable?The supplied storage case is rather nice, it is made from a stiff nylon fabric which provides a semi rigid case, inside are slots for the massage gun, along with attachments and charger.Overall this works well enough. The controls are conveniently placed on top of the gun, a single button switches the power on and will cycle through all 3 available speeds. The speed is indicated by a small LED, this also displays the current state of charge.How does this compare to other models? I have to admit that as far as build quality goes this model is amongst the better models that I've had. But this massage gun only allows 3 different speed settings where some other models have up to 20 speeds available. The attachments on this model are better quality, each attachment has a silicone contact area on the face so the percussive blows are a little more cushioned, most other models arrive with hard plastic attachments which can feel quite harsh. The same can be said of the machine itself, each percussive blow seems to have some cushioning, if you hit bone it's not quite so uncomfortable with this. On some of the cheaper machines, the percussive effect can be quite brutal if the speed is not set correctly. The performance of the motor seems to be a little more smooth in operation too, it is also fairly quiet in operation.
