My package says “nylon reinforced silicone” - so these are not silicone as advertised?

It is a Silicone but manufacturer used nylon as a reinforcement to make it strong. Cause if it was only Silicone it would not havdle a stiffness in it

Why soak product for 30 minutes?

i didn't know i had to soak for 30 minutes. I just washed them. They are really good, not for dishwasher they have wooden handles. but they are a great set, I used them all the time.

are the wooden handles very heavy? I have some that have metal handles and theyre always falling out of pans due to the weight.
