Does what it’s supposed to and easy to use

My old Bayer glucose monitor gave up the ghost after over 12 years. I was going to go to Amazon or our local Boots to buy something similar myself.However, when I asked for advice at the Diabetic Clinic, the doctor there gave me one of these 'True You' devices for free!It is easy to use and seems to be very accurate. Its not the cheapest on Amazon but it does a good job. In our area at least, the lancets and test strips are also readily available on prescription.On a slightly negative note, I have found the supplied 'lancing device' to be rather ineffective. Instead, I tend to use the device that came with my original Bayer monitor. Fortunately, it takes the same lancets.Otherwise, I am very pleased.I wonder if this monitor will still be going in 12 years time?
