Morris & Co. Golden Lily Cosmetic Bag

Bought this a Christmas present for my daughter.The design on that actual bag looks as good as on the photos and I was pleasantly surprised by this.The bag is made of a waterproof (resisitant) synthetic material so should be easy to keep looking fresh over time.I misjudged the size though. She wanted a cosmetics bag for her handbag and I think this is going to be too big. It's more the size of a medium sized washbag (but maybe that's what ladies need in their handbag? ). The dimensions in the description are correct - the error was entirely mine.In my opinion the bag is pretty, well made and should last well. None the less, in an ideal world it would cost 5 pounds less to deliver strong VFM

Surprisingly capacious, if a little bulky because of the comparatively deep base and sides. Light and prettily patterned, the bag has a neatly finished grey silky lining and wipe-clean exterior, and an attractive gold-coloured zip pull embossed with the 'M' logo. It's ideal for keeping bits and pieces such as make-up or breath freshener tidy and readily accessible, or carrying intimate hygiene items which you don't necessarily want kicking around in the bottom of your handbag, for all to see whenever you open it up to get your purse out, and potentially getting grubby.I disagree with the couple of reviewers who say it's poor/'cheap' quality - I think it's classy, especially for the money. I would certainly be pleased to give or receive it as a gift, anyway.

I find cosmetic bags tend to split at the seams after a while if I buy cheap ones so I decided to buy a more expensive one this time. This is a well made and attractive bag with a sturdy zip which looks as though it will stand up to regular use. I don't actually use an make up but this is useful for carrying things like pain killers, my asthma inhaler, lip salve, indigestion tablets etc. - all the things which end up kicking around in the bottom of your handbag. I think this bag is well worth the money and it looks as though it will last several years.

This is the perfect cosmetics bag. Great size and made from the most luxurious wipe clean material. I’ve read a few reviews that say it’s cheap, but believe me it absolutely is not. Yes, it’s wipe clean, but it’s soft and very high quality material and I strongly suggest that the negative reviewers are not au fait with quality fabrics sadly. I love this bag and so pleased I bought it! Very happy!

I love this bag, it's a good size to hold make up. It's a lovely design and has a soft almost waterproof feel to it. There's also a small pocket inside to hold a little item. The zip has a large square metal disc with the letter "M" on, so it's easy to zip open. I think it's great as it fits all my needs !

I didn't realise it was a shiny material rather than soft fabric but a beautiful design nonetheless.

I like William Morris designs so this bag was lovely as I liked the print. It is a nice quality and good size.

Got one for cosmetics and another for skincare. Nice and roomy with a quality feel to them.
