WIDE VORTEX FLOW ACCELERATOR - MODEL VA

These things are the bomb! I'm using 2 on my 40 gal anemone tank and my nems love the random flow they create. I didnt want to have powerhead in my aquarium due to it being an anemone dominated tank so o decided to try this product out. It works as advertised and I will continue to buy more as I build more fish tanks. The stock threaded fitting fits a bit loose to a bulkhead but if you thread it all the way it will fit snug. Great product!

The media could not be loaded. I’m using 6 in total of the 9 I have. Each style yields a different flow pattern and volume. I have a 125 gallon mixed reef, 40 gallons sump, 3000gph return pump, using a sqwd wave maker with 3 of these per side. I’m getting a gyre effect without spending $600 to $1200 on wave making pumps.

not long enough especially with a center overflow i got a decent wave in my tank and i can barely get this under water low enough without them sucking off the surface and blowing bubbles all over my tank let alone adjusting where i actually wanted the flow

Looks like it produces a good random flow pattern in my aquarium. It’s in a 55g tank and dies a good job keeping the area behind the rocks stirred up. Seems to have a good range of directional adjustment.

Seems to be working well so far really wish there was more links to it so I can get the head deeper into the water so it doesn't suck from the surface
