Not for eGPU use. Totally worth the money for a PC build or GPU upgrade.
I really love Sapphire cards. They look great and where other manufacturers make these a two slot and really long card, Sapphire wisely made this a two and a half slot card allowing for the installation into smaller cases. It runs pretty cool, even when maxed out gaming. It's not as fast as an RTX 4090, but it's about $1500 less. Besides, 400 FPS vs 200, you're not going to notice! But I needed a good card for an eGPU. This ain't it. But it's not a Sapphire problem, but an AMD problem. I've tried an RX5700, RX6600,two different RX7800 XTs (one was this one) and a Sapphire RTX 7900 XTX. Any computer it tried the eGPU on benchmarked phenomonally, but regardless of the game, you're getting 20 to 45 FPS. Destiny 2 was my main test game due to the high variability in maps and locations. It didn't matter. The frame rates were all over the place between 20 and 45 fps, even a the lowest settings. Resolution didn't matter. I tried two other eGPU enclosures and got the same results. Putting any of the listed cards in a PC and they're great, especially compared to team greens pricing! I highly recommend this Graphics card for PC use. I do not recommend any AMD based card for eGPU use. If you need an eGPU, go with an RTX 4070 Super. In PC performance was similar, but eGPU use, the RTX was about a 10% performance loss, so the same testing netted nothing less than at least 110 fps.

Great Value GPU
I upgraded from an MSI 2080 ti Ventus and the performance increase was spectacular. I had to fit this card into a NZXT H510 with a front mounted radiator, and I only had about 12.5 inches of clearance and was happy to see this fitted perfectly. Besides the great performance, this card is very quite cool and really quiet. I used it to create some renderings for a few hours and it didn't go past 62 C at full load. Compared with my older 2080 ti, it is extremely quiet, just a low hum at full load. The only thing to note is that even though it mostly stays at 360W, it does have power spikes at close to 400 W and my PSU of 800W was not handling it. I had to buy another PSU at 1000W. The strength of this card is the massive amount of VRAM. That makes it great not only for 3440x1440 gaming, but also for 3D work as well. I got this on sale at $889, and at that price there was nothing better. Even with the new 4000 Super series, hard to beat this value.

AMD's powerhouse in a convenient model and form-factor
NVidia has reigned supreme for years as far as GPU's are concerned, ...that is, until recently. AMD's weakness has always been its inability to compete with NVidia's Ray-Tracing, CUDA, and other technologies, ...as well as instability of their drivers & software. But over the past year, that has all changed as AMD has made some massive strides and improvements in their technology. Even though NVidia still reigns in the video-editing & production and 3D rendering, ...software and driver updates and corrections on RDNA 3, and now, the release of RDNA 4, are threatening to hit NVidia head-on for all other 3DVR and gaming applications. With the problems NVidia has with its new 5000 series line combined with very high prices over all its products versus the performance you get (especially VRAM), AMD GPU's are starting to be more used and accepted by VR and gaming enthusiasts. It depends on your needs and the games and applications you use and run. For most, a GPU like the RX 7900 XTX is a powerhouse monster with 24VRAM and RDNA4 that will satisfy more than enough for most VR and gaming enthusiasts, especially those who need the VRAM and speed vs superior tracing. That being said, this is the go-to card for the ultimate performance in VRChat, which places more demand on VRAM than any other game or application out there (as most can't afford a $2,000 to $3,000 NVidia equivalent). Lastly, there are different brands of AMD GPUs. Sapphire and ASUS are good brands. Keep in mind that if you want the better card, you should consider and go with Sapphire's Nitro+, as this card is made for superior cooling, overclocking, utilizes more power, and will operate more comfortably, but its drawback is that it's BIG (3 slots and very long), requires space and a heavier wattage PS. I chose the Sapphire Pulse because it only takes up 2 slots, its slightly shorter, and works well in a smaller limited space case. It's not really made for overclocking. It sacrifices cooling capabilty and runs on less power, and because of this, it may tend to overheat without supplying extra cooling/airflow measures. However, if you are not planning on "pushing" this card to any extremes, its raw-power "as-is" will be a great solution for a lot of people.

Great performance only wish it was better priced
The card works well, there were some driver issues to work out due to high power draw at idle. The software is fully featured and may take a bit of a learning curve to figure out. I upgraded from a Radeon VII so was familiar however the new feature set takes a few videos to figure out what works with what. The card is big compared to reference and you really may need to measure your case clearance prior to any XTX purchase. Overall the card is cool and quiet compared to my VII. HOWEVER, if you are a 1080p gamer it is overkill and for the price im sure there are other options. If it were 600-700 dollars it would cut into nvidia sales pretty hard. If you are a ray tracing gamer then you are kinda stuck with Nvidia. I think overall most gamers reside in the 200-400 dollar upgrade path and it seems to be a balanced sweetspot. Now im just waiting for the new AMD releases for whats to come and justify such a lofty purchase.

Amazing
Absolutely amazing card. Especially for the price. I think this is the BEST gpu i have ever purchased. Lots of power and lots of VRAM. I have zero issues while gaming and am very satisfied with my purchase.

Unreliable
Failed just outside of 2 year warranty. I recommend going with a different brand/gpu :C. Gonna have to shell out more money on something I thought would last longer, don't let me be you.

Card is class. No faults, so far at least. Powerful, sleek and fairly quiet for a card of this calibre. Shipping was class also. Arrived over a week early. Conclusion: couldn't be happier.

From the picture you can see that the GPU support bracket has some screw marks Now i did recieve the GPU pretty quickly thanks to speedy delivery drivers. but when i opened up the box containing the GPU it noticed the GPU itself was missing the plastic wrap you normally find on these cards. then after words i notice the Support Bracket has some scuff marks. the PCIe 16x also had a mark on it, if i knew this was used and had a reduced price i wouldn't be so upset, but the fact i ordered NEW with a NEW price tag but got USED instead. that left a sour taste in my mouth. this was such a bad experience that i hope nobody else experiences. tried posted a review a few times but it kept not posting. so buyer beware, i hope you don't get the GPU i have returned as it was USED. i didn't bother hooking it up to my PC just put it back in the box and asked for return label.
