This is great. Has changed my cycling life. Can download gpx files from Strava and do my own solo exploratory routes. I think the directions given are great -had no problems with trips out to wales or Wigan. Love it. Came with all the sensors which work fab. Some haters don't like the touch screen.. but really it's fine. It's nowhere near as good as your standard phone screen but.. it takes a lot of beating in the wind and rain! I got mine on prime day do had a decent saving

Really compact- easy to fit onto bike- and does what it says on the box !

I like it for my training, but do set it up online. Then you will get full advantage of the kit . Oops I learnt the hard way ..

Great bit of additional cycling kit that’s added an extra dimension to my biking. Mapping isn’t the best especially when using it on the stats screen but all works well and everything links up as it should.

A useful turn by turn sat nav that is compact yet easy to use

Not a great product for me. Just expensive. Screen is very slow and unresponsive and it takes few tries until it reads your option. . Wahoo or even Polar V650 are way better from my experience. Garmin needs to up their game if they want to keep up with their competitors. Will go for a elemnt bolt.

Not impressed at all. This was bought as an upgrade from my Edge Touring Plus, so expectations were high.The first thing I noticed was that turn by turn instructions appear at the bottom of the screen overlaying the timer screen, which are not easy to read. All you get is a small symbol (arrow for example) and a distance to turn, next to it. Several times I could not read the instruction and had to swipe the screen to see the map. This is not mentioned in the advertising blurb, nor is it shown anywhere. I rely a lot on navigational instructions, and these are bordering on useless!Secondly & more irritating, the turn instructions would remain on the timer screen about 40-50m after the turn has been made. If two turns are very close together, then the second one is missed. I tried several short test runs using routes created on Garmin and Strava, and the result was the same.Segments did not work properly (device and user failure), and generally the 820 is smaller than the Edge Touring Plus, meaning that if you have a timer screen with 7 or more read-outs, then some will be difficult to read, especially when travelling over bumpy terrain.After two rides, I packaged it up and sent it back - it is no use to me. Amazon refunded and I have purchased the 1000 bundle instead, and that is far, far superior

Alles was man über das Gerät wissen muß ist im Netz merfach zu finden.Daher werde ich nichts über die technische Spezifikation oder den Funktionsumfang schreiben.Wie in der Überschrift schon erwähnt ist es ein tolles grundsolides Gerät mit sehr genauer navigationsfunktion und integrierter Europakarte die ich schon merfach nutzte.Störend ist allerdings, dass wenn man eine vorprogrammierte Route verläßt, die Neuberechnung gefühlt ewig dauert.würde mit den Edge 820 jederzeit wider kaufen.

Une fois réglé et mis à la main l'utilisation est aisée et très pratique.L'altimètre est barométrique, et il y a la possibilité de corriger la dénivelé après téléchargement sur le site Garmin.
