The 75 WDG Herbicide in a convenient 16-ounce bottle is designed for effective puncturevine control, covering up to 8 acres. For optimal results, it requires the addition of a surfactant like Dyneamic, making it a smart choice for professional managers looking to maintain pristine landscapes.

Tall fescue control
This seems to work on reducing tall fescue in my Kentucky bluegrass lawn without killing the bluegrass in Illinois. I mix it at 2 grams of dry granules to 1 gallon water, then add a little surfactant. It is best to apply when it is warmer and when you anticipate rain in a few days. If it is too dry for too long it takes longer for the product to react. I applied some in April 2017 and it was relatively cold. I did not see much results. In 2016 I applied in August and it worked really well. I did test spots last summer at 1 gram, 2 grams and 5 grams per gallon of water. The 1 and 2 grams seemed to produce the same good result and slowly killed the TF. It can take a few weeks to start to see results so be patient. At these mix rates it is not like Roundup were they brown in a few days. At the 5 gram mix rate it showed results very quickly but it really browned the blue grass as well. I can see the test patch spot very easily a year later. Too high a mix rate. In May 2017 I sprayed a large area of field grass that is beside our lawn (between a field and our lawn) at a rate of 2 grams per 1 gallon of water. I was very impressed with how it knocked it down. This grass grows so fast and now it looks like the same height when I cut it a month ago, and a see a lot of brown TF and green blades of preferred grasses growing. Where I live if I let the TF seed out and the wind blows it spreads very easily onto a manicured lawn in the country surrounded by fields.

Not sure yet...2019 & 2020 & 2021 UPDATE!
I bought this a couple years ago and have been increasing the dosage each time. Started at 1 gram per gallon and then 2. No results at 1 gram per gallon. Saw TF dying at 2 grams but then it came back. Just applied at 3 grams per gallon. Now I wait...*UPDATE*I am very hopeful. I didn't see much happening with 3 gpg, but at 5gpg, it killed all of the TF, which was a lot of my lawn. The clumps were removed and the rest have mostly composted into the dirt and the new KBG seed is spreading nicely and covering the dead TF areas. This was a long process of trial and error and it would have gone faster if I knew how much to use, or wasn't scared of using more at the beginning. My recipe for northern Utah, 5grams per gallon. Sprayed the entire yard. Aerated the yard. Power rake the yard (this step was amazing to tear up the dead TF). Seed with KBG. Water. Water. Water. My lawn is about half way back to where I want it to be, which isn't bad considering where I started.First pic is about a week after I sprayed the 5 gpg. 2nd pic is 2 months later, you can see the large areas of TF that are dead.Next step is to seed again in those dead areas, even though the good grass is spreading pretty well, but I want it to go faster.Final answer is to keep trying higher concentration until it works for you.Now what am I going to do with the rest of this bottle that I used -5% of...?UPDATE 3 8/2020:New pic that is cropped poorly shows where I’m at a place where I think the TF is dead. Spring started and dead spots everywhere. Last fall, I sprayed again since the TF came back. 6g/2gallon. It took some time to get the dead patches to go away, but they did and it is looking like I won!2021 September update: Tall Fescue wins the war. I had a couple seasons of success but in the end the TF continues to show up and in increasing numbers. I have tried increasing the dose all the way up to 15 grams per gallon. Yesterday I waved the white flag and rented a sod cutter. It is all cut out and ready for a brand new start. Gonna spray the soil with something strong and wait till spring.Advice: if your TF is in large number, cut it out early and don’t waste your time.End

Worth every penny
The first picture used to be all tall fescue, and my KBG is filling in. The second picture is where it was almost entirely tall fescue and has almost completely filled in with KBG. Both pictures are taken July 9, 2021 about 2 months after spraying on May 14.This stuff works great to get rid of tall fescue in a Kentucky blue grass lawn. I had a lot of real wide blade clumps of tall fescue throughout my yard which is mostly Kentucky blue grass. I sprayed the whole yard with this at 5 grams per gallon along with a surfactant at the end of April 2021. I didn’t see much discoloration after 2 weeks, so I sprayed again at 6 grams per gallon. I started to lots of discoloration and seed heads after a couple weeks so I knew it was working. Pretty much all of the tall fescue was dead or dying by mid June and my KBG was looking healthy again. Now, in mid July, the KBG is filling into the empty spots where the tall fescue died nicely. This was totally worth the price. I thought I would have to kill my entire lawn and start over because the tall fescue had taken over so much.
