Rembrandt Professional Soft Pastel Set General Colour Selection Deluxe | 60 Half Pastels

I’m a novice with soft pastels and started out with some relatively cheap, but nevertheless good pastels. I couldn’t afford or justify purchasing the ‘top of the range’ makes, but decided to invest in some Rembrandt pastels after watching some artists on YouTube. What a difference better quality pastels can make! These Rembrandt pastels are lovely and soft and blend beautifully - they also create less dust than some cheaper makes - and there’s a good range of colours in this set of 45. Well worth the money if you want to progress with soft pastel painting but can’t afford to pay around £3 per stick!

Beautiful pastels with. Lovely colour selection however one was broken on arrival which was pretty disappointing. However otherwise they’re lovely 😁

THIS IS CLASSED AS A TOY, BUT THESE ART PASTELS ARE BEAUTIFUL QUALITY. GIVING WONDERFUL BLENDING QUALITIES, AND SHARP LINES. ALSO THE SIZE OF THE PASTEL IS A BIT LARGER THAN OTHERS I HAVE PURCHASED WHICH IS HELPFUL IN MAKING BACKGROUNDS USING THEM SIDE DOWN WITH PAPER OFF. I LOVE MIXED MEDIA AND I FIND THEM GREAT FOR THAT TOO. NOT REALLY A TOY AND CERTAINLY NOT FOR A YOUNGISH CHILD, WHAT FUN YES, BUT ALSO WHAT MESS! OLDER CHILD COULD ENJOY AND LEARN ALOT.THEY ARE DELICATE, AND WERE PACKED WELL,

Lovely colours and very smooth to apply and blend. I had previously bought the very pricey Unison pastels and although not quite as high quality, these are more than adequate. Highly recommended for intermediate artists and beginners

I really don't understand the high reviews and high price. These are so bad on so many levels. They're colours embedded into each other colour that keep coming up. They are thin and long and chater very easily. I ovoid using as much as possible. I cant believe no one else has experienced the same I bought a cheaper set and wow put these to shame. I can honestly say I hate these, as I feel like I'm being ripped off.

Beautiful quality. Costly but so worth it. I use them for my ball-jointed doll face-up work mostly.
