Unique design. Thinner than other covers so less likely to crack screen.
The novel design allows it to be much thinner than other privacy covers. This is important as the thicker covers can damage the screen (apparently a common cause of screen cracks in newer MacBooks). Because there isn't a separate sliding cover (hence, the thinner profile), it is a little less convenient to slide into position (I am subtracting one star for that). However, it is the only privacy cover that I have found that I am comfortable putting on my MacBook.

Easy to use, a little pricey
It does exactly what it says. It magnetically attaches to the lid where the camera is. Blocks all light and covers the camera entirely. It's thin enough that the laptop lid can close safely per Apple's specs for webcam covers. It's a little more pricey than it should be, it's a thin magnet with a matte black finish but it gets the job done easily. Be sure to clean the screen before putting it on so that nothing can get stuck between the cover and the glass on the screen.

Don’t peel off the sticker side
This goes on in less than a minute including time to read the instructions. Then, it takes about ten minutes to line the film back up because the instructions don’t say to leave it on. They put that in some fine print instead. On mine the film was peeling a bit at one edge so I pulled it off. Because that is the normal procedure. The film is what keeps your screen from getting scratched, so leave it on.As a product it seems fine if you don’t frequently need the camera. No glue and the sensors are not blocked, but it doesn’t have any slider, it just slides against the screen.

Privacy and subtlety
Fits a MacBook Pro well with no gap when closing the top. Like that it is nearly impossible to see.The holes could be a just little larger. The indicator light is partially covered when using the camera.

Perfect fit for my new MacBook Air M2
Product fit perfectly, unobtrusive and easy to use. It’s magnetic so it sticks right to the screen. My laptop closes with no bulge. Would definitely recommend. I wish they made one for my iPad Pro!

An elegant and subtle camera cover...at a price
I'm not paranoid. I swear. But I've seen too many people make embarrassing and sometimes costly mistakes while thinking nobody was watching them on their webcam, and I want to be sure. Not everything I do in my house is fit for public consumption, ya know? So I've been using a neatly-cut piece of blue painters tape to cover the camera, and it's just ugly. The corner I use to pull it up won't stay down, and it's super-obvious that I have a camera blocker. I don't want that to encourage certain people to start up a conversation about how the government is watching us and using Elon Musk's satellites to control our minds. Nothing wrong with those guy, just not for me. Ya know?So I found this webcam cover on Amazon, saw the price, and thought "this much for a thin piece of metal?" But the reviews were really good, so I grabbed a crowbar, pulled my dusty American Express Aluminum card out, and ordered one.I got it today, and yep. A thin piece of metal with a thin strip of magnet on one side. I could have made one of these in my 9th grade shop class. But it would be big and ugly, and would probably break my screen whenever I closed my Macbook. Sorry, where was I?In fact, it's a perfect accessory. It sticks easily to the integrated magnet at the top of the screen, and holds steadily. It doesn't interfere with the laptop closing, or the magnet holding the Macbook closed. You just use a finger (or toe, if you're into that) to slide the strip of metal sideways to hide or open up your camera. It has an extra hole so that whether the camera is open or covered, it doesn't block the light sensor. It's so nicely done, it feels like something Apple would make themselves if they weren't so pig-headed. [It doesn't matter if the green light shows the camera is on if you aren't looking at the computer at the time, Tim!] Oh, sorry. So yeah, it's pretty expensive for what it is, but it is elegant and works perfectly. Kind of like my Macbook. I guess I'll be getting a second one for my work computer. Definitely don't need a whoopsie there!

Too Much for So Little
It's a good product but you're really just paying for a magnet camera cover that slides over and off camera on MacBook Pro.That's fine but it's so small, it's not worth the value advertised - This product, as is, I would say is not worth more than 5.99 USD or so - maybe 7.99 at most.

Nice but it's not "slide" the way I expected
The strip goes nicely on the edge of my scree and stays in place with the magnet. There is no "sliding" piece on this strip. Rather, the whole strip slides from left to right to go over the lens and off. I don't think it'll scratch something eventually (I hope not), but it is a thin metal.

Works well, practical and clean design
The cover magnetised onto the whole bezel and notch of the Mac, such that you hardly notice it. You can easily slide the cover to open or cover the web cam as needed.Well worth it and definitely recommend.

I dislike the design.
I initially thought it was missing the sliding window component. Turns out it doesn't have one and you slide the entire bar. It's a very clunky, inelegant design imo but you may find it satisfactory.
