update:Replacement unit received, timely delivered. All looks good and no stitching issues on the replacement. For a $20 sling, it's well made and measures up for my needs. So only time will tell how well zippers, stitching, etc. holds up. I'm not expecting miracles but if it lasts a year, it's well worth the $20.Given its very reasonable price, compared to others, it's actually a very nice sling pack. But as picture shows, the inner pocket elastic band on my bag was not stitched completely/properly and coming apart. Chalking that up to just one of those things missed. Returning for replacement b/c it is a nice sling pack and dimensions are what I'm looking for. After buying/returning several bags b/c it just wouldn't fit or not enough protection, this Vanlison pack was perfect fit for the 12" 2018 ipad pro (3rd gen). That inner pocket with the bad stitching fit the ipad perfectly, pretty snug. The ipad is pretty much the size of a letter-size paper, about 1/2 inch thick so if you're looking for that pocket to fit a really thick letter sized notebook, it won't do. The main compartment will fit a letter sized notebook probably up to 1.5" - 2" thick. I am returning for a replacement and hopefully with have the elastic strap fixed and update my review.

This bag fits a decent amount, considering its size. I have a large tablet that fits nicely, along with a number of other things I want to take with me. I love the abundance of pockets and that the strap can be adjusted so it goes over your right or left shoulder.Only drawback I've encountered is that the water bottle pockets aren't quite right for my bottles. They're fine if you just use regular plastic water bottles or Gatorade bottles, but my reusable bottles that are a bit thicker and a bit taller tend to slide out.Overall, exactly as advertised and exactly what I wanted.

This is a good bag, lots of room on the inside pocket. outside pockets had enough room to fit wallet, and important essentials. the side pockets are a little small, I wanted to fit a water bottle, but it was too small. I used the side pockets for extra phone battery. It is a little bulky as a side sling bag, kinda wished there were two straps to use as a normal back pack.

I've had this pack for a couple of weeks now, and am liking it more and more. It's about the right size, plenty of zippered pockets, and I'm getting used to "what's where" when I look for stuff. It's comfortable, but I will admit that I have mostly carried it by its handle to/from the truck...no hiking or courier work yet.Improvements? Sometimes, I wish that the zipper on the larger compartments had a pull on both sides, and I could just pull up on both to close it. I'll get used to it!

I really wanted to keep this as it has the right look, style and size. But, I bought this for my 12" laptop and a HUGE problem that damaged my laptop is that on the inside back side, there is a zippered pocket. HUGE PROBLEM. The zipper scratched and dented my new laptop! I can only imagine what it would have done to a tablet screen! In the product photo showing the tablet inside, it is laying on top of books (which hide the zipper). But if you were to just drop your tablet in their by itself, it would eventually be cracked. Very poor design.Also on the inside, there is an elasticized pocked in the front of the bag that should be on the back side of the bag to hold your laptop/tablet in place. Again, poor design.Additionally, when carrying the pack over the shoulder in the back (instead of across your front chest), the padded part of the should strap does not sit on my shoulder.Other than that, if you're going to use this for books only, and NOT for any type of electronic device, it's a nice bag for that. However, I would expect your books to also be dented by the large zipper on the back side.I would be more than willing to purchase this again if it were redesigned properly.

I've only had this a few days but I'm loving it so far. I spent several days comparing various sizes and styles of bags, finally decided on this one and am very happy with my choice. I was looking for a small/medium sling bag to carry to work and this is perfect for me. Big enough to carry everything I need but it's not too bulky. Fits a normal 8x11 size notebook perfectly, my kindle FIRE 10, a book or 2, and all the random small stuff I need during my day at work. Lots of pockets and compartments to keep everything organized and easily accessible. Appears to be very well made and sturdy.

Is a good little bag, good amount of room for the size. However, after about 9 days one of the straps on the bottom just pulled out. As You can see from the pictures the strap is not finished on the end that is sewn into the bag. So as the end of the strap unravels it slips out of the stitches holding it into the bag. If the end of that strap had been folded over and sewn before being sewn in I don't think it would have come out. I'm waiting for the other strap to do the same. It's disappointing. No other problems, but this is such a simple issue that could have been easily prevented. That's why the one star rating.
