Great tool for keeping wine cold without keeping it in the fridge. Easy to use - after removing the metal tube from the freezer, just screw to the pourer - you do have to empty some of the bottle into a glass first (physics!). I was surprised at how efficient this tools was and it looks stylish on the table. My friends really liked it that they have now bought some for themselves too!

Easy to use, good, sturdy quality, works very well. It doesn't cool as effectively as a cooler bucket, or a frozen wraparound sleeve but will keep an already-cooled wine at a nice temperature for a decent time. I wouldn't use it to cool a room-temp wine though. Overall a nice option to have.

This is a stylish, durable and well-made wine porer / cooler that is simple to use. It arrives in its box in two parts; the perspex pourer which has a built-in aerator, and the metal freezeable metal tube that screws onto the pourer. For red wine, simply pop the pourer into the bottle neck and as you pour, air enters through one hole in its base and evenly aerates your wine, instantly. No more forgetting to open the red hours before use to aerate the wine! It's the same for whitie wine but simply remove the metal tube from the freezer and screw it onto the end of the pourer and insert it into the bottle. It cools the wine as you pour and aerates it at the same time. BUT BE WARNED (it's common sense but this should have been highlighted in an accompanying text): to allow for the displacement of wine caused by the insertion of the metal tube into the bottle, first pour out a small quantity of wine from the bottle - about a mouthful should do it (sommelier's perk!). I would highly recommend this to anyone who loves wine, as an occasional imbiber - or not quite so occasional; it really does make a difference. I bought three; one for me and two as gifts. Excellent gift for wine-loving friends who have (almost) everything!

Really smart and works well, keeping wine cool and ideal for pouring - BUT contrary to the initial description, the wine pourer, or spout is plastic and not stainless steel. To use, the stainless steel chiller rod has to be cooled in a freezer then attached to the spout by a threaded connection. Being plastic, great care has to be taken when screwing the spout onto the chiller rod as it's all too easy to cross-thread or even break the plastic thread. You can't then buy a replacement spout (well I couldn't when this happened to my first purchase) but have to replace the entire device, which is why I have only given 3 stars rather than the 4 it would otherwise have richly deserved.

In 5 minutes a bottle of wine is chilled to perfection and a great value, useful and effective stocking filler, love it!

I bought two of these to keep wine chilled at acheese and wine party (don't judge me!) I tend to keep the metal parts in the freezer after washing after use, so tehy are always ready to go. I have never used on a 'warm' bottle of wine so can't tell you the results, but having left an open bottle out of the fridge for an hour or so after opening with one of these in, it definitely keps it cooler :) They are a great fit in to any wine bottle, and the pour is just lovely. Couldn't recommend more!

Inexpensive and useful gift for the white wine drinker. Quickly cools wine and keeps the remaining wine cool in the bottle. Always available, just take it straight from the freezer to bottle.

Adquirí este enfriador de vino y esta es mi opinión. El enfriador se presenta en una caja bastante elegante, me quedé sorprendido de la buena presentación del producto. Una vez abierto vemos las dos piezas que componen este articulo: una varilla y el aireador. La varilla metálica mide 19 cm de largo y tiene un ancho de 1,5 cm. Es una pieza sólida pero no muy pesada con una rosca en la parte superior que se engancha a la pieza del aireador. El aireador es una pieza de plástico de unos 13 cm de largo. En la parte inferior tiene la rosca donde se engancha la varilla metálica, A continuación tiene dos muescas por donde el vino entra para terminar saliendo por la parte superior. En funcionamiento es muy sencillo, solamente tenemos que refrigerar la pieza metálica, enroscarla en el aireador e introducirlo en la botella de vino. En mi opinión es más útil para conservar el vino a la temperatura óptima que para enfriarlo. Independientemente de esto, este articulo tiene una gran calidad precio y creo que definitivamente merece la pena. Si te ha parecido útil mi opinión te agradecería que lo marcaras en el recuadro :D

assez pratique, efficacité relative mais rend bien service. Le seul bémol est qu'il ne peut être utilisé dans une bouteille plein que l'on aurait oublié de rafraichir car bien évidemment le volume de rafraichisseur ferait déborder la bouteille. A une certaine efficacité malgré tout et permet de garder un peu plus le frais meme s'il n'est pas aussi efficace qu'un seau à glace. Il est aussi pratique et peu encombrant. Nous l'utilisons régulièrement
