My husband got me this for Christmas and it suuuuucks. I'm not sure what you would even use it for, but I tried it on fish and burgers and both times it was like the top part was too close to the bottom part. It decimated the fish and I couldn't even fit it over the burgers without using two hands to hold it open wide enough. I finally was like, what the hell am I DOING and just grabbed my old spatula. If you're like me, and don't need another tool in your kitchen that (kind of) does a job that another tool does better, pass on this.

The angle along the back of the small flipper made larger pieces of chicken shoot out.Was fine after I bent it a bit.Love this for the grill as I have "lost" food through the rack before.Easy to clean.Recommend.

These are very sturdy and look great. They're a bit stiff but not hard to use.

So I originally got this for handling steaks in a cast iron. Problem is I like big thick steaks. This little guy is a bit thin and immediately bent a little on the handle when I went to pick up a heavy steak. So it works good for lighter smaller foods I suppose but it's not strong enough for heavier foods. It will just bend or crease in the handle. The sturdiness isnt what I had hoped for. Overall it does work but not for what I had Hoped.

This is a pretty good spatula. I have never had a double spatula/tong type utensil before, and it's really cool. It's very helpful for flipping things, which admittedly I am not great at! It's especially good for transferring more delicate things like fish filets from a pan to a plate, where normally they'd fall apart between the two. I took off a star for two reasons. First, I wish it had a hook or something that most tongs have that keep it closed, just in case you want to use it as a normal spatula. Second, I do have a bit of concern about how much weight the spatula can hold. I haven't tried to use it on a steak or anything heavier, but they seem a bit lightweight. Otherwise, this spatula is great!

I was more excited about this prior to receiving it than when I actually used it. It's smaller than I thought it would be and is more limited in use than I thought it would be. It worked to flip small steaks, hamburgers and small grilled sandwiches and not much else. It would have worked better had the top spatula piece been the same length as the bottom spatula piece and had both spatula pieces been slightly larger.

My hubby grills all the time and we need good tongs at our disposal. We have several regular tongs but none like this. I like that it is a “double” so you can better scoop & hold more delicate items like fish and flip them over gently. These are fairly lightweight but still sturdy enough to handle our grilling needs. It did arrive with some scratches on it, but I mean, it’s a pair of tongs so I’m not really worried about a few scratches. Did take 2 ½ weeks to arrive.

These meat tongs are one of the most useful items to use to grip meat like hamburgers, steaks or chicken breasts. Normally, I would have used a regular slotted turner or regular tongs to grip the meat but they are harder to use for meat. Whenever I would use the slotted turner, I run the high risk of dropping the meat on the counter or the floor and the regular tongs were not wide enough to grip meat well. These tongs are great in that they have an advantage of being a slotted turner with the functionality of tongs to be effective in gripping items like meat or other items that are difficult to hold. These tongs are sturdy and made with high quality stainless steel that is food grade so that they are safe to use on cast-iron, stainless-steel pots and pans, Pyrex glass or any stoneware. One concern is that these tongs are not for non-stick pans and do not possess heat resistance like silicone. I am planning on not leaving these tongs in a hot pan for a long period of time to prevent getting burned.
