Works great! I'm an EE, with many years of technical audio/video experience, and it works great. The biggest concern I had was maintaining HDMI timing, and this one claims full re-timing... which keeps all the various HDMI signals in-sync with each other. This is great, because many HDMI cables over a few feet "skew" the signals, and if a simple splitter is used (without re-timing), then the signals at your display devices can be distorted and cause "flaky" HDMI problems... believe me, this is important when dealing with long HDMI cables!Another feature they advertise is the ability to power this device directly from the 5V signal that exists in all HDMI devices. (Their wording "This Product use internal power supply which come from the source to work normally.") This is great as sometimes the desired location of an HDMI splitter may not have AC power available. I have not yet verified this feature, because I have plenty of microUSB chargers around, and I had AC power available... just to make sure it would work well. I will check this and amend this review.The external power connector is a microUSB connector, and it requires 5V at approximately 250mA (I measured it)... such that even a 500mA USB charger is more than adequate.The housing is metal, no plastic junk here... top notch stuff!!

Worked right out of the box. Connected two 720p Samsung TV's in an office environment to one Samsung cable box. The cable box out resolution is 1080i. A single 50 foot HDMI cable was used to connect each of TV's. The two TV's had no issue receiving the signal, both playing the picture and sound simultaneously. No sync issues at all. Nice metal case that easily mounted to plywood wall. Power adapter simple to connect. Power indicator on unit.

Ran an hour and half presentation with continuous slides and this converter worked fantastic. Solid design and construction. Worth the money and use.

I think I got a faulty unit. It worked here and there but usually it was just more trouble than it was worth.I asked for support from the manufacturer in the q&a section on this product page. They replied once asking for more info. I replied back to ask for a way to contact them outside of the q&a section and I never heard back. I tried to find a way to contact them directly but had no luck. I initiated a return but the process was a huge pain. So I canceled the return and decided to simply give a bad review instead.The product worked well when it worked but that was rare. The quality of the product was poor and customer service aspects were basically nonexistent. If I get a bad unit, I shouldn't have to chase down the manufacturer to the degree I felt I was required to.I won't order from Rasfox again.

One would expect that a simple little device like this would "just work." And, in some cases it actually does. Plug in an HDMI video source, connect two displays and... What happens next is anyone's guess. In some cases, one display would render an image. Then it would go to black. Then flicker, on and off, finally settling back to black. The other display looked like half the colors were not there, and there are streaks across the screen. Jiggle the HDMI output cable and things start to jump around, and displays flicker. This included a Samsung 4K display, several HD computer monitors (HP, ASUS), a Tatung touch display and more. The Samsung never showed any signal on the input, meaning that the splitter (actually it's a distribution amplifier, technically speaking) is just not doing its job.I tried different cables, different displays, different sources, but the common denominator here is the Rasfox 1x2. Unfortunately, I missed the return window, so now it's going to sit in a box somewhere and remind me to buy right the first time, everytime I stumble across the thing.
