When you have a one year old granddaughter you can 't finish a book as fast as you want to. Great book and I would it again!!! Here is a highlight from the book.......
They went up hand in hand and peeked into the girlsโ room. Kimmie sprawled on her back in her bed, while Berry curled on her side beneath the princess-style canopy. Each had a cat nestled beside her. Between them, on a small table, rested the book of fairy tales from which Jan had read aloud earlier. The story had ended with, โAnd they lived happily ever after.โ But as she and Zack slipped out, she realized their real story was just beginning. In his bedroom, he withdrew a velvet jewelerโs box from a bureau drawer. โDo you still like these as much as you used to?โ To her astonishment he opened it to reveal a set of elegant rings: the engagement ring sheโd thrown at him and the one intended for their wedding day. โYou kept them?โ โI guess there was a part of me that never let go.โ She slipped on the sparkler. โItโs beautiful, and it still fits. I can hardly believe it.โ โStart believing.โ Zack drew her close. โIโm glad itโs back where it belongs.โ And so, Jan thought, was she. At the start of a wonderful adventure. Twice upon a time...

Loved it!
I have read all of the books in this series and they are all wonderful. This one was not exception. A once engaged doctor and nurse, a surprise baby and a horrible misunderstanding--they meet again 9 years later and the chemistry is still there. Will he find out about his daughter? Will he forgive her for her secret? Can they reunite? This is a must read novel for any Jacqueline Diamond Fan.

Well written story
Very cute story, and I enjoyed it. I like light hearted books that I can pick up and put down not forget what the story was about.

Weak
I only made it through the first six or so chapters, up to the point where Zack finds out that Jan kept their daughter that was supposed to be given up for adoption. He feels betrayed and angry - why? He signed the papers giving up his parental rights, why does he care who raised the kid? Jan gives in too easily when he decides he now wants to be a Dad. What woman in her right mind would allow that right off the bat? He didn't want the kid to begin with now all of a sudden he wants to be a Daddy. B.S. Get real. I won't be finishing this book and I definitely will not read another book by this author. She is definitely living in fantasy land.

Romance at its best
I've read all her books in the series. Can't wait for the next one which I've preorder .I love the romance in them .Jacqueline Diomond is good at bringing them together it's allways a different way in all the series. You've probably guessed that I'm a romantic at heart. Keep them coming Jacqueline.
