Seems to work really well. Only criticism is that the instructions are so badly translated from Chinese that they are are practically worthless, which seems strange on an item with considerable safety implications.

It works, not overly pleased by the stability of the connection to the gas canisters or the quality of the flame adjust, but it works well. Good value for money

Very prompt delivery, item arrived next day. Was Sold by EU Xcellent Global and Fulfilled by Amazon, so one would expect a genuine product, however it didn't have "Xcellent" brand on it, had different model number, no marks to show that it meets EU safety, health or environmental requirements. I returned it and was immediately issued a full refund. Perhaps this is not a very useful review about the torch itself, however if you expect to receive the product advertised, it may be worth to know such details.

Received this item and the product packaging was already open like it had previously been returned. There's no information about what type of Gas canister to use with it, just sayings a regular type. I have 2 regular types in my possession, 1 with a Male type valve and one with a Female. These 2 types have worked for everything I have ever owned which needed Gas. (Gas canisters pictured). They didn't work with this. I'm guessing the valve was already broken. The way the Gas canister would attach just doesn't seem safe. Seems made for a Chinese market not the UK. Avoid this product, I'm returning mine.

This works like a powerful beast. Like beauty and the beast. Burns those puddings like a boss baby. i love this i want to use it every day! great for lemon meringue puddings to blowtorch the meringue. and potatoes. and apples. and peaches. and pears. and everything else you can imagine. Just be careful don't singe your eyelashes.

Great value blowtorch that is very easy to use. The set-up is so easy and the adjustments you can make to the flame will make it an essential tool in the kitchen, especially as I have fallen in love with sous vide cooking. It is way more powerful than the kitchen blowtorch I had already and has already proved itself to be brilliant for finishing steaks.

This is my third and by far the best blowtorch. I love making crème brulee. I've previously tried grilling the sugar topping and have also tried two other blowtorches, both of which were underpowered by comparison. This has more than enough power to get the job done in an expert manner. It also benefits by clipping directly to the butane canister (rather than having to manually fill it).

This is an excellent blowtorch for cooking, bought it for my husband for a Christmas present and he says it is very good. You need to purchase the gas cannisters separately but they are very easy to attach and you get a strong flame. The flame is also adjustable and should allow for many crème brulee's to be enjoyed. I am sure he will experiment on other things as well.
