Happy Birthday: A Novel (Random House Large Print) Paperback – Large Print, July 19, 2011

I just recently got back to reading Danielle Steel books after a somewhat long hiatus. This one did not disappoint. What starts off as a not so happy birthday for three people somehow changes everyone’s lives.

Very repetitious. More than usual. Long, uninteresting paragraphs. This book could have been written as an article. The characters had little depth. The ending was very predictable. The cover of the book was what drew me to read it but what was on the inside was not worthy of reading. Pretty much a waste of my time. I kept hoping it would get more interesting.

“ Happy Birthday” becomes the stage for wish fulfillment in its “tongue & cheek” look at getting older when you still feel you’re young.

So enjoyed this book!!!
