Slate effect Gas Fire Pit and Fire Bowl

Bought this fire pit in April 2020. It looks very nice and expensive.It is sturdy and heavy/not flimsy. I gave only 4* for sturdiness, as the door for the gas bottle is not the close fit (on my pit/not sure if all of them are the same). I won't return it because of that as it doesn't affect the look or purpose. As we had a hot summer, it got only used 2x. It comes with the cover, which is very good. Overall happy with the purchase. A recommendation to be made; first know where it is going to be placed, as it is heavy and needs 2 people to move it. I moved it around the garden few times, as it can be seen from the pictures.

We purchased this as we like the idea of a fire pit, but don't like all the smoke. Delivery time was quick and the packaging is sturdy and protects the contents well. I did take the advice from other reviewers and buy an additional box of lava rock, which I am glad of as it looks a bit bare with just the one bag provided. I put a 6kg bottle of gas on it and it fits fine. The electronic ignition works well, we start it on a high setting and then reduce it to 50% after about 10 minutes. If the lava rocks are placed carefully there is a good heat distribution and they heat up very well and keep you warm on a chilly evening.The cover that comes with it is very handy and has stood up to strong winds, rain and snow. A good product, well worth the investment.

Bought a similar one about a year ago as a gift and always wanted one for our garden. Arrived well enough packaged but had a few scratches when took it out the box. Touched up and it looks OK. The igniter part is flimsy and a bit squint. Not as good quality or as well built as the peakstone one bought last year for £100 less! Looks like due to high demand for these that it has been thrown together rather quicklyand quality is not as good. Despite that it works OK and throws off a decent heat.

Looks good, makes a nice talking point in garden as everyone likes it.Down side, the button to start it it onto good so takes a bit of fiddling around to start it. I have to get someone to do it for me which is not ideal. Shame about that as other wise I really like it.

The fire pit arrived on time via UPS. Unfortunately the first fire pit arrived transit damaged to the base. A phone call resolved the problem and we had a new fire it within 48 hours without any hassle whatsoever. The pit looks good in the garden and is certainly well worth the money, in comparison with another TV advertised company it is £100 cheaper! I had to buy a gas bottle (as expected) although the supplied gas valve/regulator did not fit the Calor gas bottle a new one costs (£6.99) not a massive expense. Really pleased with the fire pit and am sure we will have lots of use over our English "summer".

Really good solid product, fabulous quick delivery, only criticism it’s a little tall so when sat on garden sofas the heat doesn’t get your whole torso. Or maybe I’m small.We ordered the extra rocks which made it look fabulous

Great fire pit looks really nice not too big. Mine has just arrived and was really well packaged and i was gobsmacked at next day delivery when the advert stated 4 to 5 days. This unit is heavy, well constructed. Cant wait to see what it looks like at night. Initial comments all round very pleased.Value for money 10 out of 10 . As per questions asked you will need a 5kg bottle its the only one that will fit underneath. I tried local shops with no success but eventually found Homebase have them for 60 quid and 22 pound refill charge. Nice addition to the garden and i can get rid of the chimenea no more smelling of burnt wood in your hair and clothing.when you go to bed half cut.

This item is absolutely perfect. Warm, easy to use and good value for money. I will point out that 13kg bottles DO NOT fit in these heaters, stick with the smaller 5kg bottles. My fire arrived damaged with a broken door, but it was soon rectified by the seller. Perfect
