Have used this tool to install sights on several handguns. Unlike some other designs (such as MGW), this tool does NOT require the use of separate, additional-cost slide adapters for different handguns. Relatively easy to use and works well. The screws on the base are counter-intuitive (left to tighten, right to loosen) but it's easy to adapt to. YouTube videos are your friend. Overall, this tool is much cheaper than many competing models, works as well and doesn't require additional adapters at additional cost. What's not to like?

I was surprised by the capability. It even worked on my impossible Bodyguard 2.0 rear sight. It was difficult and I had to use two big box end wrenches for extra leverage on the handle and to hold the base in place even when it was mounted in my vice. I also had to apply some heat and some penetrating lube. Due to the tiny size of the slide it ended up bending near the ejection port so I recommend putting something solid that’s the same width as the barrel breech in the slide while pushing sights to prevent this problem. Leave it to S&W to put their sights so far off center and then make them so difficult to move. The front sight was no problem. I’m excited to have this for future use. I don’t see a need to buy the more expensive version when this is strong enough to bend the slide with no damage. Good quality especially for the price

It works well. Recommend tapping on it with a brass hammer, between turns, so the threads do not strip. I do not like the left hand threads. Good price

A great deal for a very solidly constructed gun sight tool. It is well designed and easy to use. It is even nicely finished. Lastly,it is nearly identical to similar gun-sight tools costing twice the price

The build quality is out of this world ! I used this to install a XDM rear sight that I had to use an angle grinder to remove the factory sight ! This is a well designed piece of equipment ! I have installed 5 sets of replacement sights on several different makes and models of pistols with the XDM being the most challenging over the last couple of years, on pistols that I have owned for several years ! I went through the Dawson Precision phase on all of the above mentioned guns to the Night Fision Tritium sights ,which are wonderful ! It is a great company for customer service as they sent me a replacement rear sight because there XDM replacement sight actually got stuck in the slide ,halfway in ,not being able to move in or out ! When I received the sight pusher , I had to use an angle grinder to actually grind out the stock slide to be able to install the replacement rear sight ! Just a tip for those reading this review , I spoke to Fision's customer service who commented that most sight manufactures leave a little extra material on the sight bases so that the sight could be fitted to the actual gun being worked on ! You can take a little off but can't ad a little back on .The rear sight base is actually a triangle so when you stone it on a flat stone it takes off material on all of the surfaces at once ! Using this excellent information made the installation a breeze as the sight pusher has tremendous power ! Go and by one and be set for life !
