Electric Heated Throw Over Blanket Soft Fleece Washable Polyester Warm Mattress

Bought this [after reading other reviews] for watching tv as the central heating isn't working properly. Its size is generous enough to snuggle under without having to pull it about to make sure your feet are covered. Its soft, thick enough not to feel cheap, thin enough not to be too heavy, lots of different heat settings, heats up very quickly, has more heat capacity than I generally need. It now gets moved to the study and is perfect for draping over the knees / round lower back while on the computer. I was so impressed I've bought another for the bed. I find it better than the under electric blanket - no more cold knees. What's best about it is its given my timid antisocial cat a new lease of life- she just loves to stretch out and sleep on it [I have the blanket always covered with a sheet] I keep it on for her all day. Its a real treat for both of us.

It's the best thing I own. It's the one thing I'd save in a fire. When I moved house, it was packed in the 'important items I don't trust the movers with' box in the boot of our car. And for less than £40?? We all know about the energy crisis, turn your heating off, turn this blanket on, and your wallet will thank you. It has heat settings and a timer, I like H9 which is High for 9 time increments. I cannot work out what increments they are because I usually get so comfy I drift off to sleep while it's on. After the time it goes onto low, enough to keep me warm but stops me overheating while asleep. It's perfect. It gets me through cold mornings sat at my desk, cold evenings on the sofa, and cold nights in bed. I have discovered people do seem a bit puzzled when you buy it as a gift but they will thank you later!

Love this blanket. It is turning chilly so so have it going for a couple of nights and I am delighted with it. It's easy to work the controls,, heats up quickly and is light and cosey when not turned on. Great item and very good price when comparing other makes.

The blanket is thin enough for you to feel the heated wires running through it however this has not lessened how comfortable it is. Very soft. Gets lovely and warm. Saving lots of money on heating and nice to cosy up with on sofa. It's a good size and the adjustable heat settings and timer are good.

Very soft and comfortable blanket. It works well and has a lot of versatility, both of settings and use.

I've been using this blanket for three winters, as my room has single glazed windows and gets very cold. It worked great and the auto turn-off feature is very handy.However, slowly but steadily and without any misuse, the electrical circuit moved out of place and it's now ended up on both edges of the blanket. So the left and right edge both get nice and toasty but there's nothing heating the middle - and I've found no way to move it back into placeUnfortunately, as it's otehrwise great - and it's good to have 7 temp settings over the usual 3 this type of blanket has.

I left mine crumpled up on a chair overnight while it was still on. In the morning the controlled looked as though it had been redesigned by Salvador Dali - it had melted! it was jammed solid so can no longer be used but had not caught fire or anything. Having said that it is extremely warm even without the heat on so is still useful.
