Packaged neatly in red pouches. I opened them all up to check them. They are correct size, good quality. Confirms to EU standards. We have log fires in our home plus we enjoy using candles. We have diesel tractor-mower in the barn and a paraffin heater in the workshop. Touch wood we’ve never had a fire, but accidents can happen with so many flammable items (plus normal risk of cooking fires or electrical problems). These fire blankets were such a good price so I bought 10. We have one in utility room, one in kitchen, one in each bedroom, one in the hallway, one in the main barn, one in workshop and one in alfresco kitchen! The red pouches are easy to open in a hurry. Everyone knows where they are located and how to use them. Hope they never get used, but for the sake of couple euros per room I’ve got peace of mind.

Never thought we would have to use one of these, but man, are we glad we bought these as a precaution! Compared to a fire extinguisher, this thing basically smothers the flame, with no mess, no fuss ! Trust me, using a fire extinguisher works as well, but the remnants you need to clean up after using one is one ugly mess. Not to mention having to recharge the extinguisher after every use, as well as having to have it inspected every year!
