The Paper Mate Clearpoint Mechanical Pencils have been my go-to pencils for years, and they never disappoint! The 0.7mm HB #2 lead strikes the perfect balance between smooth writing and durability. I have been loving this brand since I was in high school. I’m 40. They are on the expensive side but worth the buy. They write really smooth. It has the click click to get the lead to come out and click hold to push the lead back in. I like to hold a thicker pencil than the standard mechanical pencils normally are. The pencil is very durable if dropped. Thickness of the lead is the normal .7mm. You can refill the lead and get erasers for the top. It is not a heavy pencil.
