I just ordered David's brand organic earl grey tea. You are free to read about that tea for a comparison-I quickly ordered another earl grey due to my disappointment. I steep my tea in a for life tea infuser. This Earl Grey is overpowered by the oil of bergamot; no matter the steeping length. There is more tea leaf flavor in this tea than in David's version, and the bergamot is more fruity than herbal. However, it just isn't my thing. it may take years to go through this bag-and a decade to get through David's version, I will be offering both teas to every guest now. The search continues...If you like iced tea, which I do, this would make a nice flavored cold tea.

It is a great little Earl Grey. I like it not sure if I love it yet since this is my first cup so I only gave it four stars.I've had Earl Grey's from all over the price spectrum and its not as good as the higher end ones, but it is better than many that I have had. It has a nice flavor and smell to it. One of the things that I like about it is there is no artificial aftertaste that some teas from the big chain claiming to be "authentic Earl Grey" seem to have. I'd recommend it to a friend.

This tea is amazing. It's very smooth, tastes the same after three brews, and you get a ton of it. It comes in a clear, vacuum sealed bag that is resealable and sturdy. I depotted it in a large Teavana tea tin and still had over half the package left, took some of it home for vacation, and still won't be close to finishing it until its expiration date. I see that the Earl Grey is currently unavailable. I really hope that it comes back in stock, it's a fantastic quality. I would buy another tea from this company, and when (and if) I run out of my Earl Grey I will repurchase.

I have to agree with the other reviewer. Fresh out of the sealed plastic package it it pungent. The Earl Grey is overpowered by the oil of bergamot. My son loves strong tea but he even said this was a bit much. Maybe as it ages it will quiet down a bit. We will see. Also bought a bag of Davidson's Earl Gray tea and it is more to my satisfaction. I will be consuming that first. The delivery was prompt and the tea is well packaged.

I'm glad I didn't read all the reviews before ordering this one. Maybe I just have different taste than some of the others, but I found this variety of Earl Grey very good. It's an exceptional all-day cup.

I've had many different Earl Grey type teas in my life and this is not one of them. The flavoring is not Oil of Bergamot but oil of lemon leaf-overpowering and not at all pleasant. I have even tried mixing it half and half with plain tea and the essential oil, they used just leaves a horrible lemon Pledge flavor in your mouth. I may try it as ice tea this summer but I will not be buying any other products from this company. and I can not recommend anyone buying this tea..the leaves are a bit too dry and crumble easily too. indicates that the leaves are getting too old. Probably why they are overdosed in Lemon leaf oil. STAY AWAY!!

Perhaps I got a bad batch, but when I opened the bag the predominant odor seemed petrochemical. Taste was unpleasant; it almost tasted like it was based on a Ceylon green rather than a black, and there were no distinguishable citrus notes. From visual inspection it obviously wasn't a green, so my guess is that they got a bad batch of bergamot oil that really messed up the flavor profile.

I ordered two pounds of Organic Earl Grey loose leaf Tea from Fresh Roasted Coffee LLC.through Amazon. I have ordered other teas from other companies and through Amazon, but this is the first time I've experienced such a friendly, customer-oriented company....plus, the organic Earl Grey Tea is shockingly 'FRESH'. I recommend to all organic tea lovers to buy from this company ...for coffees too. I know I will not buy my tea from any other place.
