Q: what is the pin cable for???

The pin cable is actually easy to plug and unplug...It's what makes the digitizer able to sense the touch..The new screen comes with adhesive that insulates the frame frome the lid screen.... You tube vids are very helpful... Saved me over $500 doing it myself..

Q: do these screens come with adhesive and/or any kind of thermal barrier? do we need to supply anything? or is everything included for adhesives

They do not come with any kind of adhesive. That is one of the downsides. But it did fix my delamination problem

Q: My 2018 dodge Durango has lines going through the screen, is this going to fix that?

if you mean that your digitizer has lines and is de-laminating, this can replace it. It is messy job. I was able to convince Jeep to replace unit for safety reasons.
