Rugged and useful
Needed as an attachment to connect the pop up sprinkler. These parts are not cheap but do seem to be ruggedly built.

Different measurements on each end
Not great. The connection to the sprinkler is 3/4 inch. But the connection at the other end, to the water pipe, is 25cm (c 1 inch).

Plastic moulded thread is awful
Really bad threading. When inserting and screwing into the tap the threads constantly give way and buckle. Because of this they don’t hold onto the tap connection and yes I purchased the correct fitting for the tap.
