The Perfect On-The-Go Meal
I absolutely LOVE this stuff after I learned how to properly make it, especially the chocolate, vanilla, and banana flavors. Given the focus on actual science not trendy marketing, it’s the perfect on-the-go meal ONCE you learn how to make it bc it does like to clump and stick to things. The keys are (1) Get a WIDE-mouth blender cup with a removable lid bc you’ll want a large opening to pour the scoop into the cup (getting it into a small opening is a nightmare), (2) pour the water in FIRST and THEN pour the scoop (prevents it sticking to the cup sides), and (3) shake softly at first (otherwise will stick to top) but then HARD and learn to live with inevitable clumps. With two scoops I get at least 2 hours of feeling full plus the satisfaction of knowing I got a nutritionally complete meal.I always take a quart bag of huel (with a scooper and bottle) in my backpack with me when I travel bc it’s the perfect way to have a quick quality meal for cheap on-the-go (especially when good food isn’t immediately available), rather than scrambling for 30min and paying $20 to find and wolf down a meh sandwich.

No scoop included?????
Ok, taste is good but what on earth-who doesn’t include a scoop saying they want to “save plastic”? But of course you sell the scoop separately! That’s just called passing the cost off to the customer and this stuff isn’t cheap. IDK if I’ll buy it again but stop nickel and diming the customer!

decent product
i have used other protein powders from this brand (vanilla and Strawberry). i tried the chocolate this time and it's not so good. i'll finish the bag but won't order it again. it does not have a very chocolate taste, it is a bit watered down taste. i do appreciate the grams of protein compared to the calories though.

This is grotesque and inedible.
What can I say? I have been using Soylent, which tastes ok, but I was looking to see if I could find something that actually tastes good. Tried this. Followed some advice from comment section here recommending mixing the night before to make the texture better. Texture was ok, but still a little gritty. But it tasted terrible. And I mean awful. It was like stevia flavored cardboard and almost had a fake strawberry taste to it. Or something. It's difficult to describe. If taste is important to you, avoid. Can't speak to their other products, obviously, but in comparison, Soylent is delicious and cheaper, so I'm going to just stick with that. You can't return this stuff on Amazon either, so if you are going to try this stuff, go through Huel's website. If you find it as remarkably vile as my partner and I did, I heard you can get your money back at least. Bare minimum, no matter where you buy this, make sure you can get a refund if you hate it.

Very good, tasty, quality ingredients.Wish it came in a different bag or bottle as the bag is inconvenient. I will buy again!

Texture n tas
Nutrients are solid, but the texture (no matter how much I shake, or put in less) is very chalky. Taste is so-so, too.

Nice stuff
So I tried the banana flavor and enjoyed it. Wanted to see if chocolate was worth it too. First I'd like to say I love how these 2 flavors aren't sweet at all. I don't know about the other ones but these weren't. And I enjoy that. I hate drinking a shake and wonder why if felt like I just drank a whole cake. The chocolate one is nice. As it wasn't as clumpy as the banana. Taste wise it reminded me of the chocolate puddings but not sweet. A little bland. The consistency is different from the banana though. Also, from having the banana it's a little weird but it gets messier than any protein powder I've ever had. First, how it's packaged the powder gets in the crevices of the zip tracks. So when you try to seal the bags it doesn't cause a ton of powder is stuck in the tracks. I think the manufacturer needs to zip the backs first before they seal it. Second, the powder is like jumpy and attracted to certain things. Like it's got some magnetic pull or something going on. The chocolate doesn't have that though. So a little weird. Definitely like this product because how hydrated and full I feel. I wouldn't rely on it as a meal or anything if people are thinking about that. But yeah I would definitely recommend.
