Revlon Colorsilk Beautiful Color, Dark Ash Blonde

My hair has had quite a journey this week.I was a dark brown and wanted to get back to blonde. So used a colour remover, followed by bleach, followed by blonde dye, followed by an ash blonde dye, followed by blue toning shampoo. I ended up with blonde roots, orange lengths and grey ends. It was horrific.I’ve seen this product on here before but it was super expensive as it’s not available in the shops here in the UK.It seems to have done down in price massively so this was my last ditch attempt to at least try and even out the mess I’d created.OMG I have never used a product like it.It was a gel consistency rather than more liquid like other brands so didn’t drip everywhere.It didn’t stink like box dye usually does.The development time seems a little short so I left it on for an hour (it had a lot of work to do!) 😆I wasn’t expecting miracles as my starting point was such a car crash. Just to tone the orange down, darken the roots and had already prepared myself to admit defeat with the ends and just chop those off.Obviously I prayed to the hair gods that I wouldn’t end up being bald.But it ended up being a miracle!It evened out everything! Even the ends!I don’t know how but even the condition is better than when I started this whole process.I wish I was brave enough to share my starting picture so you can understand what this colour has done.I’m so happy I don’t need to cut my hair now and actually love this colour. It’s so natural looking.It this what American hair dye is like generally?What is this witchcraft?I would give it 10 stars if I could.

it’s a bit darker then what it shows on the front of the box but i’m currently loving my hair . I bleached it and it looked so horrible and orangey and had colours everywhere i then put this on and it evened it out perfectly and looks amazing!

It's a pleasant dye to use as it has no chemical smell. it covered my grey hair but my darker blonde hair I was was disappointed with. It's not a Dark Ash blonde but more Honey blonde. It's also washed out quite a bit over the last two weeks. Its ok, but will go back to the Nice and Easy and put up with smell.

Turned my hair a dark auburn colour, a lot of red undertones which shouldn’t happen with an “ash” dye.

Nice colour and not overpowering smell. Pack contains gloves. I’ve been using this for a few months and wouldn’t use anything else even my hairdresser said it was a good colour choice for me (cool complexion).

How in the world it turned my light blonde hair grey/green I will never know but it has and here we are avoid!
