Bought as a present for my teenage grandson, with his parents permission. He loves it and enjoys using it to split logs into kindling for me. He finds the weight good and likes the hammer too.

Good all around axe sturdy handle and Good weight

I like balance of this small axe in my hand when using it to create kindling. It has a notch in the head which I have used to remove small nails from the wood that I am working on. It also has a flat back opposite end to the blade and this I have used to hammer metal wedges into larger pieces of wood to split them before chopping them with axe. I could easy carry it on my belt when wild camping if it were not that it might be seen as an illegal weapon if carried in UK. I gave 4 stars because although it is effective in use immediately it arrived, it did need honing to give a better more effective edge to the blade. However that is ptobably a vrry personal preference of mine. I like it, an extremely useful piece of kit in my toolbox kept under lock and key when not in use.

Chops things and handy if things turn to bad in this workd, really well balanced and better durability than those on Dead Island 2!

very comfortable in hand when using great axe

Really nice axe, well made / good build quality. The flat rear surface opposite to the blade makes it easy to use the axe with a short handle sledge hammer to chop kindling. My only gripe is that it was supplied with a very blunt edge and took quite a bit of sharpening to get to the point that it was effective. I can guess at the why this is the case, but it should be flagged in the product description.

Excellent product. Everything I thought it would be. Nice weight too.
