Hetty Feather Journal Diary – 2 July 2015

The latest Jacqueline Wilson book from the Hetty Feather series, a great gift or good read. My Daughter had the book minutes before she started to turn the pages. The only thing that stopped her from continuing was her bed time, I gather from her it is "Amazingly written by Jacqueline again". The book arrived before expected, the service is excellent and packaging easily recycled. I would recommend this book as a parent and from the delight given to my Daughter, as she reads and enjoys the story unfold.

I do applaud BBC for making the drama series of Hetty Feather which is unparalleled almost as there are few other programs which show kids today how children used to live and what they should be grateful for. There is only one thing I didn't like about this journal -( which now I see is obviously for girls only and is primarily for them to write in rather than Hetty Feather's own journal account of her stories) .That thing is the rather 'grown- up' romantic interest revealed of Hetty Feather that is revealed here quite openly although it is more implied in the drama series which is one of the reasons both parents and children like it.

I must admit it didn't have a much entertainment value as what I thought it would from the description, but my daughter is bound to live it anyway.

I bought this for my daughter's 8th birthday and she loved it. She is a big fan of the CBBC series and this book is a perfect gift for a Jacqueline Wilson fan.The book has lots of information inside and encourages a child to write and be creative. It surpassed my expectations and was good value for money.

9 year old daughter loves this, room to write diary entries and fill in lots of persoal info, likes and dislikes etc

Just in case others make the same mistake, this is a journal for you to write in. I bought it thinking it was a journal to read, which my daughter loves. It's not been touched.

My eight-year-old daughter gives this five stars, she says there are lots of quizzes and things to keep her occupied. She also likes the page that appears at the beginning of every month with illustrations and story extracts.

Great interactive book, with lots of thought provoking activities, bought for my 10 year old niece who loves all things JW
