This is a great leash. As a new paddle boarder I wanted to make sure I had all the right equipment and this was on my list. I heard the importance of ensuring you have a leash so if you fall the board doesn't end up across the water. Although these leashes are really made for maneuvering through areas where a straight leash would get caught, i have found the coil really keeps it out of your way when you are getting the board to the water and when you are on it. this one is so comfortable that you barely notice its there. The Velcro strap is comfortable and stays in place. Don't ever go without a leash and this one should be top of your list.
