VERDICT :Buy It !It gives a mild but effective 'breeze' if close enough.It doesn't make much noise.The quality and construction are good.It works and it's worth the money.USB FAN COMPARED TO A MAINS FAN :As you'll probably know, the normal type of fan that you plug into a standard mains socket ( 240 volts ) is much more powerful and effective than a 5 volt USB fan.But if you can't plug into the mains, then this mini USB fan is a reasonable alternative.AIR FLOW STRENGTH :This Mini USB fan doesn't give the 'Cool and soft wind' or the ' Strong wind' that the blurb on the box claims. It will only give you a small amount of cool air. But small is better than nothing on a burning hot day. And in fact, it's quite effective.TIP :If you're restricted to using mini fans, two of them working together might give the amount of cool air you need. If you don't have enough USB sockets, a USB multi adapter would allow you to plug in 2 fans.BRAND NAME :Lileng 815. USB Mini Fan. If you've got a Boss who whines all day, then you definitely wont notice the slight noise the fan makes.The noise is present whether it's on wood ( eg a desk ) or a carpet or a chair.If you place it on a hollow desk the noise might be exaggerated i.e. it might sound louder or possibly even rumble due to vibration.With many fans, unwanted noise is created by warped or badly secured casing. Or by bent or squint blades.The slight noise from this fan comes from the motor, not the casing or the blades.WILL IT DANCE A JIG AROUND YOUR DESK ? :No. It's well behaved and knows it's place. The fan was slightly larger than expected but works very well as a portable fan. We used it a lot over the hot summer months both day and night and whilst it was not powerful enough to be felt at the other side of the room, it did help the overall temperature in the room to remain comfortable. It's USB attachment and size makes it ideal as an office fan on your desk and its power makes it very effective for that distance too. The small rubber feet help to keep it stable on a static surface but are not effective in keeping it still in a car for instance. I wasn't expecting it to be still in the car though so that is not a bad point.On another note, this fan was bought to see if it worked with a solar panel for direct power. I can tell you that it does but is not exceptionally powerful unless it is bright sunshine and has the appropriate solar panel to work with it. Mine is about 25cm x 10 cm. Since it is hard to find reviews and/or product lists with this info, I thought I would just let you know.The only reason for the 4 stars is that it can be slightly noisy on occasion which can be annoying. However, it is well built and the noise level does decrease after a few minutes of initial use.

I love this so much, was compelled to write a review! For the price, the quality and the reliability are amazing! This works better than some more higher priced fans I have bought! I love the USB power option, so useful, I have it plugged in to my DT PC at present and the power is strong enough for me not to use my bigger fan anymore. Just right to have it pointing at my face (just off) keeping me cool through out the day! The colour is very good too! I just bought another one for the Mrs at he work in pink.Noise: I have seen some reviews about this and to be honest the noise of my keyboard when typing (and I am a light touch typer) is louder to put this in to some context for you! A fan and no noise? You need to be buying a Dyson!Perfect solution, if you need a cool working environment! Would not hesitate to recommend!

I was amazed with this small, very sturdy and cute fan. It is an absolute replica of the large ones which gives the right amount of air. My colleagues have commented on it and would like me to order them one> Wonderful and highly recommended. I have now ordered 2 additional ones and my colleagues love it. Colours are fab Pink, Blue and Purple.

Stopped working after less than 3 weeks use

Not as big as I was expecting it to be. From the photos it looks as if it is going to be slightly bigger than the cheap plastic ones. It isn't. It's well made and looks nice and is very quiet but I'm not certain it kick out as strong a breeze as the cheap plastic one that finally came apart yesterday - after 5 years faithful service. It's a pretty lilac colour though. On the whole, I like it.

I love my USB fan, good quality as metal so produces good air and safely as the blades are housed in a metal cage. It is quiet and small enough for me to move from room to room when I am working in different class rooms. It arrived very quickly too. Have recommended to others who have ordered this.
