Perfect for connecting multiple devices to your computer. My laptop is used to backup the other computers (4) on my home network. Attached to my laptop are four, five-terabyte external drives, one DVD read/write drive, external camera, mouse and two charging cables (standard USB and Apple Lightening). Using the Vantisan Powered USB 3.0 hub, all of the devices are online and work flawlessly. The hub transfers data fast and gives me the option to control the power to each device via separate on/off switches. There are seven powered USB ports and three USB smart charging ports. The charging ports provides power up to 2.4Amps to charge cell phones, tablets and other portable devices, while handling data transfers between the primary computer and external hard drives. I have used other, more expensive hubs, but this hub satisfies my requirements at a reasonable price. If you have multiple devices to attach to your computer, I highly recommend that you consider the Vantisan Powered USB 3.0 hub. It is lightweight, compact and does a great job.

I purchased this after one of my cats (no names) chewed through the cord on my previous hub. It has worked flawlessly for months. I like that I can power my devices with the red outlets and have connectivity to my PC with the blue ones. No need to unplug unused devices... just power off the port. Great product.

This USB hub functions properly. External Drives plugged into this hub can maintain connectivity. The light-weight plastic cover can tip to the side when some devices are plugged into the hub.

The Vantisan USB 3.0 Hub is a great value in powered USB 3.0 hubs. The individual power buttons for each of the 11 ports are clearly marked and are operated with just the right amount of pressure. Each port lights up very brightly and evenly when it is turned on, so there is no mistake about whether any of the ports are activated or not activated. Having seven high-speed data ports (USB 3.0) and four high-output charging ports (up to 2.4A each) gives me plenty of ports for all of my computer peripherals and charging needs. The USB 3.0 ports light up in blue, while the high-speed charging ports light up in red. The longevity of this item has yet to be tested, but it appears to be solidly built, with no loose or rattling parts. In all, I highly recommend this product - it is a pleasure to use, and it will be a vital part of my computer system.

We have a few of these. I attached one to the underside of an end table in the living room with a variety of charge cords attached. Then allied cords to hang ito a basket underneath. Anytime you or a visitor needs to charge a device, you’re good to go. Also handy at the office in the break room where several people need to charge their devices simultaneously. We also keep one in the craft room and near the tool bench in the garage. So many tools and devices need to be charged these days. It’s great to be able to keep many things charging at once.

after just two months one of the usb 3 ports stopped working. keep in mind i use this with equipment that stays connected and its on a desk, so it has little to no movement or wear. looks good, worked great for two months, but at a cost of $15 a month thats kinda steep. disappointed....

Finally, finally, finally! I've had this for a year plus now, and every port still works, and works well. Like many have commented, I've been through so many of these things (not this brand) it's not even funny. This purchase has been a big sigh of relief for my seemingly never ending usb port problems. Spend a few extra bucks, and you'll most likely be saving money AND tranquilizing frustration. The on/off buttons are nice for things not used continuously, saving the hassle of plugging, unplugging a cable and guessing which way it's inserted.FYI: For some reason, I forgot and thought that the 4 charging ports - don't forget, there's one underneath- were data ports. I can't remember if the seller had a "D" rating when I bought this, so beware.
