Blue pen with fine stroke, I use it for embroidery and it works perfectly, I would have preferred it not to be packed in plastic because it was not needed, but apart from that it works very well

I've never used this type of pen before so don't have a basis for comparison.Thought the outline would be more defined, the tip seems quite dry. Can't comment on if this is normal but I'm disappointed

I used this pen to transfer a design onto fabric for cross stitch. It gives a clear impression and washed out easily in cold water. My only criticism is that the lines are rather wide. A narrower tip would be better if you want to draw in detail.

I was concerned that the nib might be too thick to draw a precise pattern onto cloth, but it was quite fine & a nice colour. Worked really well & washed out once stitched over.

Dissolve really quickly in water. Excellent

The is the first time I have bought/used a quilting pen, so don’t havw anything to compare it to, but it seemed to work perfectly. I was able to draw on the fabric easily and the pen disappeared after just a few wipes with a damp cloth. Was perfect for my needs

Waste of money

Wow. I didn’t actually expect this to work. I embroider tea towels in my spare time and have had a heck of a time finding something that rinses off in the wash after I’m done but that is dark enough that I can see it while I’m embroidering. So I gave this a shot.Drew out the pattern (marker was easy to use, didn’t smudge or “stick” to the fabric), took about two weeks to finish the embroidery. The market stayed dark and easy to see but I was worried I had taken too long and it would set. Finished the project, ran it under cold water and it disappeared immediately, even in places I had gone over twice. I was shocked! I am thoroughly impressed and so pleased. Definitely worth the small amount. I have only just gotten it and used it so I can’t speak to how long it lasts or whether it dries out easily but if I notice either I will update this review.

I purchased a Wrights (made in Japan) 8823005 Marking Pen, and was shipped a cheap substitute - see photo.

Draws easily on the fabric, doesn’t smudge or come off when my hands rub against it, but it came off with gentle wiping with a wet tissue. Leaves no stain behind.

I had to rub the fabric so hard to get the marker off (I only used small dots to mark not lines) that I was worried about damaging the fabric. While it did came off easily with basic quilting cotton, it would not come off linen or the tea towels I was also using. It depends on the fabric whether this marker will come off. Will not use again.

I use this to alter clothes and make my own patterns based on existing clothing items. Washes off every time. Have used on everything from light white cotton to heavy denim.
