This is great. Reading reviews I can understand why people say bowls with a lip don't stick, but I use this for my one year old along with some plastic plates and bowls from 'that big Swedish shop'. It is helping him to learn how to feed himself and while after some pulling he can pull the bowl loose it certainly deters him so he just gets on with eating. Washable and really sticky - way better than the suction bowls.

This product would be good for holding items that weren't going to be pulled at. However, for us the 'baby and toddler weaning' tag was misleading as it doesn't hold our 8 month old baby's plate in place on his highchair table - he just pulls it off! It has a better grip than suction bowls but still not suitable for holding baby plates etc if you have a strong baby! Also, it is worth noting that it won't work at all if the plate has a raised edge around the bottom as it prevents the gripper from coming into contact with the surface!

Brilliant for stopping grandson's plates and bowls slipping while he's trying to feed himself! - also keeps him entertained (while I'm getting him something else to eat!),trying to pick it up!! Easy to clean and store, great value product - wish I'd had something like this when mine were young!

I bought this grippers believing in the good reviews. Unfortunately it did not work for me. My toddler can easily pull out and doesn’t stick strong to the bowl that they’ve suggested. I don’t usually leave poor reviews but I am so disappointed in this product and when I try to return and request for refund it says -this product isn’t eligible to return. I often shop from amazon and never came across such a bad service and wouldn’t expect this from amazon.

Brilliant , my child's plate stays put on highchair or wooden table using this great place mat under the plate. So easy to wash and reuse. Wish I'd known about it when my elderly mum was struggling to eat one handed after her stroke.

Excellent product, does exactly what it says it should do. Used it to attach baby's plate to high chair tray and it didn't move at all. Even more importantly she was unable to budge it either in spite of trying very hard to do so.

Bought these to hold my babies bowls in place on the high chair but they don't even slightly hold it in place they are completely pointless. If they can't hold a light plastic bowl they can't hold anything else! Complete waste of money!

If you think you have a bowl without a lip on the bottom, you are as wrong as I was. You won't ever find a completely flat bowl or plate to fix onto this product. This product sticks to the table but that's it.
