Challis bushings
They worked perfectly and function flawlessly.

Pefect 1911 slim bushings for installing slim grip panels.
I liked the hex head design instead of a slot for a flat head screw driver, but be carefull when seating these with a socket and ratchet as some 1911 frames are alloy and can be stripped if over torqued. I recommend using a nut driver to avoid this.

The absolute best!
They may be pricey, but they never strip, secure your grips like no others, and are made to last. You get what you pay for, and Challis quality is by far the best!

Top quality accessory
Changed grips and needed a different size grip bushing. The factory ones were threadlocked and I had to break them to get them out. These were highly recommended and I was totally impressed with the precision machine work and superior fitment. The old style slotted design is useless compared to these which use a greatly superior hex style. I will get only these in the future.

A huge waste of time
If I could give no stars I would!!! Not even close to what is advertised for slim grips!!! Will not let the grips set flush to the frame, will cause damage to grips which are not cheap!!!! A huge waste of time!

Quality item
I got these as replacements for factory full size bushings on my SR1911. Quality was great. All four screwed in without a problem. I didn't mess with the tiny, thin little "o" rings. I just dabbed a bit of blue lock-tite on the threads of each bushing & installed. Then used the "o" rings that came with the grips to fasten the grip screws down. NOTE: DON'T torq the grip screws down tight. If you do, you'll strip the threads. Just snug them down. the rubber "o" rings will prevent them backing out.
