After installing and turning it on I was. Amazed by the sound quality. I have not installed satellite speakers but to my surprise I heard sounds coming all around me when I ran a Atmos demo..Before this I was using LG SJ9 with extra bought satellite speakers and now after hearing this I feel LG SJ9 is a garbage...

The sound quality is amazing. The surround sound and the thump gives you a real theatre feel. The connectivity to surround speakers and Bass is stable.

This is my second soundbar from Samsung! I had the Q950 for three months with no issues. Because I was very satisfied from the 950 I decided to buy the Q990 on August 7th. Unfortunately the surround speakers and the subwoofer are are disconnecting all the time the last three days. I reset and reconnect them several time but nothing! After resetting the tv though, everything was ok! Great product

Amazing

Great sound, quick delivery. when I turned it on for the first time, “alexa built-in” worked. After updating the system, it stopped working. There is no way to get it back by reinstalling and reconfiguring. but you can manage if there is an amazon echo nearby.

If everything is setup properly using smartThings application it will be like being in a movie theater. No sound drops noticed for rear speakers. Must buy compared to sony and JBL.
